”A Night at the Races" has grown into a community effort to ensure that lacrosse remains accessible for as many players as possible. The funds raised go directly into providing essential resources – from lacrosse balls and goals to jerseys and cloth packs – making our mission of keeping kids in the game a reality. As our program continues to grow, we are eager to see this year’s event become the best and most successful yet. We deeply appreciate your support of Big Walnut Lacrosse and look forward to another fantastic "A Night at the Races" event.

10 RACES
We will be showing 10 films of actual races throughout the evening, each with 10 numbered horses.

HORSE OWNERS
For $30, you can own and name a horse in a race. Our announcer will call each race with all of the horses' names – it's one of the funniest parts of the event. You can win real money as a horse owner! If the horse you own wins, you win 50% of the horse ownership money for that race – up to $150! Combine your winnings with "fun money" to purchase great silent auction items.

We are pre-selling horses in Races 1-3. We will reach out to you via email to collect your chosen horse's name.

PLACE YOUR BETS
Use your "fun money" to bet on the races. Place bets at the window of whichever horse you think will win the race. You can bet on as many horses as you'd like, as many times as you'd like.You will be given a ticket for each bet. Hold on to your ticket! You will need this to claim your winnings. Races are paid out in "fun money."

WINNER! WINNER!
When all bets are placed, the race will be shown on the screen and the winner displayed. If your horse is the winner, collect your winnings in "fun money" from the Pay Out window. Your "fun money" can be used to bid on some of the unique silent auction items donated to our event.

THE LIVE AUCTION RACE
An additional 11th race will be a special live auction race. This race will be run between Race 7 and 8 of our regularly scheduled races. The Live Auction race will be identified as "Race 11" on the betting tickets.

Ownership of each of the ten horses in the live auction race will be up for bids. You can bid as an individual or group. Each of the winning bids gets to name their horse. 50% of the total horse ownership pot is paid to the winning owners:
