The 2023 season is in full swing, and we are so proud of the success and growth we continue to see with our teams!

As many of you know, but for those of you who do not, Whitnall Youth Baseball & Fastpitch Softball is a small community-based nonprofit organization that has been providing area youth the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball & softball for over 50 years, in a fun, yet competitive environment.

Running a youth baseball organization literally takes a village, and after several years of repairs, the time has come to replace a few key pieces of desperately needed and costly equipment that are critical to maintaining our fields and providing our kids the best baseball experience possible. Some of these items include a new lawnmower, SandPro, and portable pitching mound. We may be able to purchase some of these pieces refurbished while others will need to be purchased new.
Our small community-based program, like many others, is feeling the burden of increased prices for materials, such as uniforms, baseballs, product for field maintenance, and labor (umps and field crew) to name a few. This is why every gift, whether large or small, makes a positive impact for our program and is so greatly appreciated.

Fun fact: Did you know...Schoetz Park is not owned and operated by the Milwaukee County park system?
It is owned by the Village of Hales Corners and the village rents it to Whitnall Youth Baseball.
So unlike any other community-based program in the area, WYB is responsible for all of the care and maintenance of not just the baseball diamonds but the entire park. This is accomplished with the help of countless volunteers and a group of retired Milwaukee firefighters who assist our organization with the field maintenance. Please help us make their job a little easier with functional equipment and allow us to continue to provide our children with the kind of fields and facilities they deserve!
