Registration for the first-ever AAUC Basketball Leagues in Alberta that are open to all ages! Amateur Athletic Union Canada (AAUC) League starts May 1, 2024, in your regional areas. Community and urban teams will play teams close to them within an hour-and-a-half radius. We will notify you what zone your team will be playing in as we have the following zones North West, North East, North Central, Edmonton, Central, South Calgary, Calgary, and South Zone(zones may adjust depending on the number of registrations in each). 

AAU is the leader in club basketball in the United States of which a majority of the NBA Stars from the US play in their youth and get exposure and training to go to the next level. Now the AAUC is in Canada for the first time and operating in Alberta with the rest of Canada soon!

Highlights of the AAUC 3on3 and 5on5 Basketball Leagues:

1. Register as a team (Individuals without a team can register and we will contact you if we have enough to form a team or if other teams need extra players. You only pay once you are placed on a team by us. If we find a team for an individual to be on then it's $150 for youth and $200 for adults regardless of what deadline it is)

2. All levels of experience are welcomed

4. Player of the Week recognition

5. All-Star selections, League camps and training

6. Game streaming, League tournaments

7. Spring tournament team selections

8. Summer Club travel teams’ opportunity in the month of July

9. Half-court and full-court formats

10. Play against teams all over Alberta!

I am the parent or legal guardian of the Player named in this registration form, who will be participating in events and activities through the Amateur Athletic Union Canada (AAUC) and the Cream of the Crop (COTC), including basketball practices and games and other activities (which events and activities are collectively referred to in this document as the “Activities”). I am aware that the Activities involve many RISKS AND DANGERS. I understand that known and unknown risks and dangers associated with the Player’s participation in the Activities may result in personal injury, death, property damage and/or loss. I also understand that personal injury, death, property damage and/or loss may be caused or contributed to by the NEGLIGENCE OR CARELESSNESS of others. In consideration of AAUC allowing the Player to participate in the Activities, I agree, on behalf of the Player and myself and any one that may claim through the Player or myself, that: 1. I ASSUME AND ACCEPT, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL RISKS AND DANGERS associated with the Player’s participation in the Activities. 2. I ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY for understanding and following the rules and safe practices associated with the Activities and for the Player’s personal safety. 3. I WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS against the AAUC and its agents, representatives, coaches, players and volunteers (together with AAUC/COTC collectively) arising from or connected with directly or indirectly, the Player’s present at, or participation in, the Activities. 4. I RELEASE AAUC from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury or expense that the Player or I may suffer or incur by reason of the Player’s presence at, or participation in, the Activities, due to any cause whatsoever, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF OTHER PARTICIPANTS, OR ANYONE ELSE.

Please note that photos/videos of The RSBBC activities that are open to the general public may be used for purposes outside the team organization. The team does not restrict such activities at public events. 5. The use of videos/photos of the team and/or its performances that will be used to create DVD’s of games and practices, where team members are not identified by name, which will be made available for purchase by the students and/or their families. 6. The use of photos of the team and/or the individual team member that can be made available for purchase by the student and/or their families. Consent: A.
