Welcome to the Toronto Jr. Argos 2024 Football program.

FEES:

A team registration fee of $875 for the U18, U16, U14 teams, and $675 for the U12 team; and a
provincial/federal football association membership fee will be requested to be paid in full by Feb 15, 2024,
for the upcoming season. Please check your emails periodically for information on how to complete
payment if necessary. Please note that there is a $75 fee for all registered players after payment for de-
registering from the program.

MESSAGE FROM YOUR HEAD COACH:

Hi All,
My name is Sam Colby and I will be the Head Coach for the U14 Jr Argos. I wanted to take the time to reach out with a message regarding the team and our upcoming practice schedule.
We are approaching the beginning of our Pre-Season Open House held at St. Michael's College School. This Open House is intended to introduce fundamental football skills and basic systems that carry over into our season. See below for details:

· Where: St. Michael's College School (1515 Bathurst St, York, ON) on their field (Dome)

· Time: 6:30 pm-8:30 pm

· Bring: Cleats, Appropriate Athletic Gear, Football Gloves (Optional), and a Personal Water Bottle

The Open House is an opportunity to get a head start on building basic skills so when we put on equipment, we will have a strong foundation to move forward. As we get closer to March Break, we will announce our full summer practice schedule. Attendance is strongly encouraged but feel free to reach out at any time if there are conflicts.

For those who are new to the program, all communication going forward will be done through TeamLinkt. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to help you out.

•8 Weeks of indoor practices beginning January 16 and ending the week of March 7. The first 2 weeks of
practices will be open to all players. All teams will be practicing Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30pm to
8:30 pm.
The following week's practices will be the opening of Jr. Argo's official practices. These practices will be for
registered Jr. Argos players only. Each team will be practicing once per week on either Tuesday or
Thursday (more info to come).

•Equipment handout will take place sometime end of February. More information to come. All fees must
be paid in full (zero exceptions) to receive equipment for the 2024 season.
•We will then have a 2-week break. The following practices will be scheduled pending field availability.
•Outdoor practices begin Tuesday, April 9.
U18, U16, U14 & U12 will begin to practice twice a week, Tuesday & Thursday at 6:30pm-
8:30 pm. Please visit our field locations page on our website which includes easy-to-use Google Maps
links for your convenience.
•Regular season: The OSFL has not released the 2024 schedule yet. We anticipate playing our first
game in mid-May. Championship weekend is the first weekend of August.
