The 18 and under program will instill a winning culture while fine tuning individual skills. The goal of this program is to prepare athletes for success in the U21 Alberta programs. The best athletes for this age category will represent ATHF nationally and internationally.

U18 (2006)

Eligibility:

Must be Alberta Team Handball Member
Must play in U18 ATHL league
Must abide by athletes’ contract

Program Outline:

December 2023 – July 2024
1 Trip to Quebec (March 28th to April 1st)
1 International Trip to Europe
Mandatory once-a-month weekend camps
Cost 3k – 4k (Not including fundraising)

Tryout Dates

December 16th & 17th
January 6th & 7th

U18 Boys Rescheduled Tryout Dates

May 4th & 5th (times to be emailled out via TeamLinkt)
All tryouts are $250 to attend, if payment of the full $1500 is made and you are not selected, you will be refunded excluding the $250 tryout fee

*note as of May 2nd: Due to gym time we have had to run three longer practices instead of 4 shorter ones. You are still getting the same amount of tryout time.

Reminder to bring a handball to each tryout date. If you do not have a ball, you can order one through Kiskatas sports.
