British Columbia Adult Flag Football

These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern your registration and participation in the BC Adult Flag Football League ('League') organized by the BCAFFL, BCPFA and Football Canada. By registering for this tournament, you agree to abide by these Terms in their entirety.

1. Eligibility: To participate, you must be at least 18 years old and meet all eligibility requirements set forth by the BCAFFL and Football Canada.

2. Registration: You must complete the registration process as outlined by the BCAFFL. This includes providing accurate and up-to-date information.

3. League Fees: Registration fees must be paid in full prior to participation. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by teh BCAFFL.

4. Code of Conduct: All participants must adhere to the Code of Conduct set forth by Football Canada. This includes but is not limited to:

Respecting opponents, teammates, officials, and spectators.

Refraining from any behavior that may cause harm or injury to others.

Maintaining the integrity of the game and upholding fair play.

5. Rules and Regulations: Participants are expected to familiarize themselves with and abide by all rules and regulations established by Football Canada and IFAF. Ignorance of these rules is not an excuse for non-compliance.

6. Player Safety: Safety is of utmost importance. Participants must follow all safety guidelines provided by the BCAFFL and Football Canada, including but not limited to wearing appropriate protective gear and reporting any injuries or incidents immediately.

7. Waiver of Liability: By registering for the tournament, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with participating in flag football. You agree to waive any claims against the BCAFFL, BCPFA, Football Canada, their officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained during participation in the League.

8. Modification of Terms: the BCAFFL or Football Canada reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants in a timely manner.

9. Termination of Participation: BCAFFL and Football Canada reserves the right to suspend or terminate your participation in the League if you violate these Terms, the Code of Conduct, or any rules and regulations set forth.

10. Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Canada.

By registering for the League, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Refund Eligibility:

• Refunds for fully paid registration fees for the International Open Tournament will be permitted only if requested before July 1st, 2024.
• After July 1st, 2024, no refunds will be permitted, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

2. Refund Process:

• To request a refund, participants must submit a written request to the BCAFFL at president@bcaffl.ca before the refund deadline of July 1st, 2024.
• Refund requests must include the participant's name, team name (if applicable), and proof of payment.
• Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment used for registration within 10 business days of receiving the request.

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances:

• No refunds will be issued for registration fees after July 1st, 2024, regardless of circumstances, including but not limited to:
  • Participant's inability to attend the tournament due to personal reasons.
  • Changes in team composition or availability of players.
  • Any other unforeseen personal circumstances that may arise.

4. Transfer of Registration:

• Participants may request to transfer their registration to another eligible participant before July 1st, 2024, subject to approval by the BCAFFL.
• Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to vicepresident@bcaffl.ca and include the details of the new participant.

5. Refund Disputes:

• Any disputes regarding refund eligibility or processing should be addressed directly to the BCAFFL at vicepresident@bcaffl.ca for resolution.

6. Changes to the Refund Policy:

• The BCAFFL reserves the right to modify or update this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants via email or posted on the official BCAFFL website.

By registering for the International Open Tournament, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this refund policy.

By registering with TeamLinkt, you commit to adhere to the refund policies, fees, and timelines set by your chosen organization or program. You commit not to initiate any chargebacks.  Deviations from this policy may result in the forfeiture of any refund.
