Villains 2026 Summer League 

10 v 10 Summer League

We provide coaches to run the bench and teach concepts during the game. 

Villains is the old school summer league. It is meant to teach creativity and allow players to enjoy the game of lacrosse. 

2 Certified Officials

Games will be Thursday Nights 7PM to 10PM at a Field in the Tysons Corner region. Meridian HS, Madison HS, Oakton HS or similar geographic location

Beltway Lacrosse will provide custom sublimated reversible as team uniform for all participants
All players must have an active US Lacrosse Membership to participate. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Cost: $195.00

All players will register as free agents before being assigned to a team by Villains Staff & Active HS Coach

Teams will play one (1) game a week total of 6 regular season games plus a playoff for the top 4 teams in the division

Villains staff will work with Northern Virginia High School coaches to determine team placement. We expect 6-8 complete teams. Goal for players is balanced and fun play. These are competive fun reps with friends. This is not a travel team, no practices and set up to be stress free.

July: 9, 16, 23 
Championship July 30th

Weather: Villains will play in rain but not lightening. If games are cancelled we will not make up.

BELTWAY LACROSSE (BLX)

BELTWAY VILLAINS HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER LEAGUE

PARENT / GUARDIAN CONSENT, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

FOR PARTICIPANTS AGES 13–18

In consideration of my minor child (“Participant”) being allowed to participate in the Beltway Villains High School Summer League, including all games, practices, tournaments, clinics, travel, and related events and activities (collectively, the “Program”), I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, acknowledge and agree as follows:

1. Parent/Guardian Authority

I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the Participant named below and have full legal authority to consent to participation in this Program on their behalf.


2. USA Lacrosse Membership Requirement

I acknowledge and agree that:

  • Participation in the Program requires the Participant to maintain an active USA Lacrosse membership for the entire duration of the Program
  • I am responsible for obtaining and maintaining this membership
  • I must provide the Participant’s valid USA Lacrosse membership number prior to participation
  • If the membership expires or becomes inactive, the Participant may not participate until renewed
  • Beltway Lacrosse reserves the right to verify membership status at any time

3. Assumption of Risk

I understand that lacrosse is a vigorous contact sport and that participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Falls, collisions, and contact with other players, equipment, or playing surfaces
  • Sprains, fractures, concussions, paralysis, or death
  • Risks associated with weather, field conditions, and travel
  • Risks that may not be known or foreseeable

On behalf of my child, I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks of injury, illness, or damage associated with participation, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.


4. Health and Fitness

I certify that my child:

  • Is physically able to participate in athletic activities
  • Has no medical condition that would make participation unsafe, or I have disclosed such conditions to Program staff
  • Will use required protective equipment

I agree to inform Program staff of any changes in my child’s health status.


5. Compliance With Rules

My child agrees to follow all Program rules, safety guidelines, and instructions from coaches and officials. I understand that failure to comply may result in removal from participation without refund.


6. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I, on behalf of myself, my child, and our heirs, executors, and representatives, hereby release and hold harmless Beltway Lacrosse (BLX), its directors, officers, employees, coaches, volunteers, officials, sponsors, affiliates, facility owners, and other participants (collectively, “Releasees”) from any and all claims for injury, illness, disability, death, or property damage arising from participation in the Program, including claims based on negligence.


7. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Releasees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from my child’s participation or conduct during the Program.


8. Medical Authorization

In the event of injury or illness, I authorize Program staff to obtain emergency medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached. I understand that I am financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred.


9. Photography and Media Release

I grant permission for Beltway Lacrosse to photograph, film, or otherwise record my child’s participation and to use such images or recordings for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes without compensation.


10. Communicable Disease Acknowledgment

I acknowledge that participation in group sports may expose my child to communicable illnesses, including but not limited to COVID-19, influenza, and other contagious conditions. I assume these risks and agree not to allow participation if my child is experiencing symptoms of illness.


11. Electronic Signature

I agree that my electronic signature is legally binding and equivalent to a handwritten signature.


ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY. I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS ON BEHALF OF MY CHILD.

REGISTRATION & REFUND POLICY

(Applies to Participants Ages 13–18 — Parent/Guardian Acceptance Required)

Registration in the Beltway Villains High School Summer League (“Program”) constitutes acceptance of this policy by the Participant and Parent/Guardian.


1. No Refund Policy

All registrations are final and non-refundable.

BLX commits field space, officials, staffing, uniforms, scheduling, insurance, and administrative resources in advance based on enrollment. For this reason, refunds cannot be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Schedule conflicts
  • Non-serious illness or injury
  • Weather conditions
  • Transportation issues
  • Personal commitments or vacations
  • Team placement or playing time concerns
  • Dissatisfaction with participation
  • Voluntary withdrawal from the league
  • Conflicts with other sports or activities

2. Medical Exception — Credit Only

If a participant is unable to participate due to a serious injury or medical condition, BLX may, at its sole discretion, issue a credit toward a future BLX program.

Requirements:

  • Written documentation from a licensed physician stating the participant cannot participate in athletic activity
  • Request submitted before or during the Program (not after completion)
  • Approval is not guaranteed

Credits:

  • Issued at BLX’s sole discretion
  • Valid for one (1) year from date of issue
  • Non-transferable
  • Have no cash value
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash

3. Uniform & Equipment Deduction

League registration may include a reversible jersey or other custom apparel.

If a medical credit is approved, BLX may deduct the cost of issued or ordered items, as these are custom and non-returnable.

Standard deduction: $50 (unless otherwise specified).


4. Program Cancellation by BLX

If BLX cancels the Program prior to its start, registrants will receive either:

  • A full refund

If sessions are canceled after the Program begins due to circumstances beyond BLX’s control (including weather, facility closures, safety issues, or acts of God), BLX may provide make-up sessions or partial credit at its discretion. Refunds will not be issued for partially completed programs.


5. Withdrawal Before Program Start

If a participant withdraws prior to the first scheduled league date, BLX may offer a credit toward a future program at its sole discretion. Refunds will not be issued.


6. No-Show Policy

Failure to attend games or league activities, in whole or in part, without prior notice does not qualify for a refund or credit.


7. Removal or Suspension

BLX reserves the right to remove or suspend any participant for conduct detrimental to the league, including unsafe play, unsportsmanlike behavior, rule violations, or failure to follow staff instructions.

Removal or suspension does not entitle the participant to a refund or credit.


8. How to Submit a Medical Credit Request

All requests must be submitted in writing to:

Please include:

  • Participant name
  • Program name (Beltway Villains High School Summer League)
  • Parent/Guardian name and contact information
  • Brief explanation of the medical issue
  • Physician documentation

Incomplete requests may not be reviewed.


9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By registering, the Parent/Guardian agrees to contact BLX first to resolve any concerns.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without attempting resolution may result in:

  • Removal from the Program
  • Ineligibility for future BLX programs
  • Additional administrative fees

10. Policy Acceptance

Registration in the Beltway Villains High School Summer League confirms that the Parent/Guardian and Participant have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
