SEASON SCHEDULE DISCLAIMER

Please read to fully understand the upcoming schedule and commitment that is being asked for your child. Our season can potentially run from July 21st-December 13th if your child's team makes it to Nationals.

We will be running FREE off season workouts, every Saturday, starting June 7th. It's a great way to have the kids meet their teammates and coaches before the official season begins.

July 19th is our Annual Family Fun Day to kick off the season. We have free food, games and vendors.

July 21st- July 24th. 5:30pm-8:00pm is MANDATORY conditioning week. Every player must complete 10hours of conditioning before they are allowed to practice with helmets and pads.

Aug 1st- Official start of the season. Players will begin tackle football practice in their equipment.
Practices during the month of August will be EVERY Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Arnone school field.

**As soon as a game day schedule is provided to us. We will share that with all families on our Teamlinkt app, under Calendar.

When school begins we will only practice 2 school nights a week PLUS Saturdays (Most likely Tues., Thur., Fri., & Sat.). Most games are on Sundays but there is a chance we could have a Saturday game.

Regular season Games are estimated from the weekend of Aug 23rd- Oct 19th.
If teams make it to Playoffs and Superbowl the estimated dates are the weekend of Oct 25th- Nov 9th.
If teams make it to Regionals the estimated dates will be Nov 15th- Nov 23rd.
If teams make it to Nationals, those dates are set for Dec 7th -13th in Naple Florida.
**PLEASE NOTE- These dates are all ESTIMATES to give an idea of the schedule and may change**

Please note you are potentially signing your child up to play from August 23rd- December 13th.

We understand this is a big commitment and we would like to be up front with any and all information that we have. The 2024 season we had 4 teams that made it all the way through to Regionals.

If you have questions, please reach out and ask. You may contact our President Rahshaun at 617-407-8022 or our Vice President Brandon at 617-281-4118.

WAIVERS

Brockton Raiders Youth Football and Cheer will not tolerate verbal abuse of its volunteer coaches from any Fan, Parent or Spectator.

This is American Youth Football, not the pros. Fans, as well as the players and coaches, are expected to abide by a code of conduct at all American Youth Football Events. While 99% of the adults in the program will abide by this code without being told, this code is being published to protect the children and volunteers (which includes all coaches and board members) from the 1%.

FANS' CODE OF CONDUCT

Fans will abide by a Code of Conduct which includes the provisions which follow. If any of these rules are broken, Brockton Raiders Youth Football and Cheer shall have the authority to impose a penalty.

Fans shall:

Not criticize the players/cheerleaders or coaches in front of the other spectators in the stands, but reserve constructive criticism for later, in private.
Accept decisions of the game officials (including referees and coaches) on the field as being fair and called to the best ability of said officials.
Not criticize an opposing team, its players, coaches, or fans by work of mouth or by gesture.
Refrain from using physical or verbal abuse or profane language at any time at the game, practice field, or other AYF functions.
Abstain from being under the influence of or in possession of and/or drinking alcoholic beverages and the possession or use of any illegal substance on both the game and practice fields.
Not be allowed on the sidelines during a game.
Not interfere/interrupt the coaching staff before, during or after games or at practice.
Not express complaints about coaches in stands or to coaches in front of or around the children (i.e. right after a game or practice).
VIOLATION

Any parent or fan who violates the code of conduct risks the further participation of the child in the program. The procedure is as follows:

Any fan who violates the code of conduct or becomes a nuisance will be asked to leave by the head coach and can be suspended from all team activities.
If the fan fails to leave upon request, the child may be suspended from further participation in team activities by the head coach.
The head coach along with the executive board will decide if the duration of the suspension is to be longer than one to four weeks or if the child will be dropped from the program. That decision will depend on the attitude of the parents.
Any parent or fan who violates the code of conduct risks the future participation of his/her children in the program. Depending on the severity of the incident the board of directors may decide to ban future participation in the program for up to three years.
