**GEAR DEPOSIT REQUIRED for loan of gear**

This co-ed, contact football program is for all players born 2012/2013 with focus is on safe contact & more position specific skill development. Players will continue to learn football fundamentals, teamwork & sportsmanship, as they develop into young athletes. We will join the VICFA league and play games across the Island (schedule released early Sep), the Raiders will supply a team bus for one Victoria game in the season.

Practices:

July/August: Tue/Wed/Thur 6-8pm
Sept-Nov: Tue/Thur 6-8pm

Games: Typically Saturday (league organized), includes team bus trip to 1 Victoria game

Season: July 29 - early Nov (depends on standing)

Field Location: Bill Moore Field, Courtenay

Registration Fees: $425 (plus BCPFA $28/Football Canada Fees of $30 if you have not yet paid them for the year)

To ensure that all players are protected, safety equipment (helmets, pads, etc.) is included once a gear deposit form has been completed. Players are responsible to provide:

mouth guard
cleats
water bottle

Please note: Our intent is to play 12-man football which caps our roster at 32 players. We will be holding player assessments and coaches will be finalizing the roster by August 15. Players who are not added to the game roster will be eligible for the practice team and receive a partial refund. Due to limited gear and volunteers, we encourage players to register as soon as possible as we will be limiting the try-out roster to 45 players.

Volunteering: All families are required to volunteer at least once throughout the season.
