COMOX VALLEY RAIDERS: REFUND POLICY

The Comox Valley Raiders have set the following guidelines on refunds with regards to registration fees for our youth sports programs.

How to Request a Refund

  1. A written email should be sent to CVRaidersTreasurer@gmail.com with a detailed explanation for the request.

  2. After the request has been received our board will review and decide to move forward with the refund and how much of the cost will be refunded. A $25 processing fee will be deducted from ALL requested refunds.

  3. If approved, at your discretion refunds may be applied as a credit towards a future season, a refund check, or a direct refund to your credit card. Please note refunds issued may take up to 7-14 days to process.

  4. In all circumstances, any equipment issued to a player must be returned before any refund will be processed.

Please note that all BCPFA & Football Canada fees are Non-Refundable.

Refund Determination

Refunds will be accessed for programs on the basis of the following:

  • Injury

  • Moving out of area

  • Not filling team roster due to lack of participation

Unfortunately, refunds will NOT be assessed for programs due to the following:

  • Weather cancellations

  • Unhappy with team assignment

  • Request not honored

  • Scheduling Conflicts

Partial refunds may be granted for extenuating circumstances, and will be decided upon by the Board of Directors.

COVID-19 Refund Policy

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Comox Valley Raiders have established the following refund policy related to our return to play during the pandemic.  We understand that it is important to outline this policy as we return to play during these unknown times.

If the Comox Valley Raiders must cancel the football season (due to provincial or local regulations), you will be refunded for a prorated portion of the registration fees you paid. The refund will be calculated based on number of actual field times versus scheduled field times.

As long as we have been given the guidance that is safe to hold the program, we will understand that any withdrawals from the program are a personal choice, as such we cannot initiate a refund for this case. Appreciating that you may want to partake and review our procedures, if a player decides that they would like to withdraw from the program before the 3rd session they will be issued a partial refund. If the player withdraws after this date refunds will be not assessed.

For more information, please contact the Treasurer at CVRaidersTreasurer@gmail.com.

By registering with TeamLinkt, you commit to adhere to the refund policies, fees, and timelines set by your chosen organization or program. You commit not to initiate any chargebacks.  Deviations from this policy may result in the forfeiture of any refund.
