Sport Code of Conduct

Little League Sport Code of Conduct: Upholding standards of respect and responsibility.

The Carleton Russell Little League (CRLL) Code of Conduct sets the behavioral standards for all CRLL members, encompassing athletes, coaches, parents, directors, officers, umpires, and volunteers. CRLL is dedicated to fostering an environment where everyone is treated with respect, and members are expected to uphold fairness and responsibility in all their interactions. The code strictly prohibits any form of violence, disrespect, offense, abuse, racism, sexism, or actions that tarnish the league or the sport of baseball. Prohibited behaviors include verbal assaults, intimidation, threats, aggression, theft, vandalism, and harassment. By signing this code, members commit to respecting officials' authority, addressing concerns with coaches privately, and following league rules. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary actions as per CRLL, Little League, and associated governing bodies' policies, potentially leading to suspension or termination of membership. Discrimination, harassment, or sexual solicitation cases will result in immediate termination of membership and voluntary service with CRLL.

Concussion Code of Conduct

Carleton Russel Little League (CRLL) Concussion Code of Conduct: Safeguarding Athlete Well-being in Compliance with Rowan's Law.

Ontario's commitment to concussion management and prevention, as mandated by Rowan's Law (Concussion Safety), 2018, requires sports organizations to ensure annual review of Concussion Awareness Resources, establish a Concussion Code of Conduct, and implement Removal-from-Sport and Return-to-Sport protocols. Carleton Russell Little League (CRLL) emphasizes the safety of young athletes, requiring officials to affirm their dedication to concussion prevention, recognition, reporting, and creating a supportive environment. Officials must also confirm the review of necessary resources to ensure compliance with Rowan's Law, reinforcing their commitment to athlete well-being.
