1. SEASON INFORMATION:

*******PLAYERS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO PLAY***********

1.1 The first game of the regular season will take place on October 23 (6:45pm-7:45pm). All regular season games will be held on Wednesdays (6:45pm-7:45 pm) & Saturdays (11:00am-4:00 pm). Specific team schedules will be communicated before the start of the season.
1.2 Season Start Date: October 23, 2024 
1.3 50-minutes games (includes warm up & half-time)
1.4 Regular season (up to two games a week) & playoffs
1.5 Game Location: Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre (located at 254 N Park St, Brantford,ON N3R 4L1). 
1.6 Season Length: The duration of the season will run for up to 10 weeks including playoffs. The total number of games for the season is dependent on the number of registrants. 
1.7 A captain will be assigned to each team who will be responsible for coordinating with players
 
 
2. REGISTRATION - What's included:

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before participating in Dynasty Sports League. By registering and participating in our league, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

 
1. Eligibility:
 
Participants must meet the age and eligibility requirements specified for the league (18+).
 
2. Code of Conduct:
 
All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner at all times.
Disrespectful behavior towards other players, referees, or spectators will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, including expulsion from the league.
 
3. Player Safety:
 
Participant safety is of paramount importance. Players must adhere to all safety guidelines and rules established by Dynasty Sports League (outlined on www.dynastyleaugue.ca/leaguerules)
Participants are encouraged to use appropriate protective gear, such as mouthguards and knee pads, as necessary.
 
4. Game Rules and Regulations:
Participants are expected to familiarize themselves with and abide by the official rules and regulations of basketball as outlined by Dynasty Sports League.
Any disputes or disagreements regarding game rulings should be addressed with the league officials in a respectful and constructive manner.
 
5. Team Assignments and Schedules:
 
Team assignments and game schedules will be determined by Dynasty Sports League and communicated to participants in a timely manner.
Participants are responsible for attending scheduled games unless otherwise notified by the league.
 
6. Liability Waiver:
 
By participating in the Dynasty Sports League, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with the sport of basketball.
Dynasty Sports League, its organizers, officials, volunteers, and affiliated entities shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during league activities.
 
7. Photography and Media Consent:
 
Participants grant Dynasty Sports League and its partners permission to use photographs, videos, and other media captured during league events for promotional purposes.
 
8. Refund Policy:
 
Refunds are subject to the refund policy outlined separately by Dynasty Sports League. Please refer to the refund policy for specific details and conditions.
 
9. Amendments:
 
Dynasty Sports League reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes via email or other designated communication channels.

Before proceeding with your registration, we kindly request that you review and acknowledge our refund policy, as outlined below.

1. REGISTRATION FEE REFUNDS:
1.1. No Refund: No refund will be granted, except for under exceptional circumstances such as medical emergencies. Such requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and additional supporting documentation may be required.
 
2. REFUND REQUEST PROCEDURE:
2.1. All refund requests must be made in writing and sent to our league's official email address at Lets-kickit@hotmail.com. The subject line should read: 'Refund Request - [Participant's Name]'.
 
2.2. The refund request email must include the following information:
 
Participant's full name
Reason for the refund request
Proof of payment (e.g., transaction ID, receipt)
 
2.3. Refund requests will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the complete refund request email.
 
3. LEAGUE CANCELLATION:
3.1. In the event that the Dynasty Sports League is canceled before the start of the season for any reason, participants will be eligible for a full refund of their registration fee.
 
3.2. If the league is canceled after the start of the season due to unforeseen circumstances, a pro-rata refund may be issued based on the number of games remaining in the season.
 
4. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS:
4.1. Certain league-related items, such as uniforms, merchandise, or event tickets, may not be eligible for a refund unless explicitly stated otherwise.
