Registration Season: Spring, 2024

Season Dates: February 26, 2024-May 27, 2024 (Memorial Day Weekend)

Registration Dates: November 20, 2023-Februrary 25, 2024

Early Registration November 20, 2023 - January 31, 2024 Full Registration = $475.00
Late Registration February 1, 2024 - February 25, 2024 LATE Registration = $475.00 + $50 Late Fee ALL paid in full

Eligible Grades: Class of 2024 - 2027 (Grades 9 - 12 ONLY)

Other Details:

Practices and Home Games
- Held at Sozo Sports Complex, 2200 S 36th Ave, Yakima, WA
- Typical Practices are 5 days/week at 4:00-6:00 but may be subject to change as needed. Additional Saturday practices may need to be scheduled to ensure player eligibility for Jamboree and the first season game.
- Practices begin 2/26/24. Games begin as early as 3/8/2024.
- All players must have 8 practices in before the Jamboree and 10 practices completed prior to the first game to be eligible to play in competition.
Fees:
- Club Dues/Fees: $475.00
- Uniforms will be ordered at the end of January. On-Time Payments and Registrtion will ensure players can choose their number and will have gear in time for the first games.
- USA Lacrosse Membership: $35.00 (Not included in registration fees.) A valid USA Lacrosse Membership is required to play.
- Equipment: Each player will be responsible for his or her personal equipment. The following are required: gloves, elbow protectors, helmet, cleats, chest protector (per USA Lacrosse requirements, must contain NOCSAE logo and SEI certification mark on both the packaging and the product to be legal for play), cup (males) and mouth guard.
Fundraising:
- Our club is new. The 2024 Season will be our first season!
- In order to run our program well, we ask all families and players to participate in fundraising efforts and events throughout the year.
- Examples of fundraising include business sponsorships, private donors, concessions, swag gear purchases, and team events held by the coaches and team.
- Our club has requested funding from various grant sources to help with start up fees as well as on-going season required fees. Parent volunteers may be a need as part of requirements set forth in each grant. This could include (but is not limited to) participation in TryLAX events, gear fittings, and the Washington Lacrosse Playoff and Championship events held on Memorial Day Weekend.
EV Lax Club Info:
- Our HS program competes in the Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association (WHSBLA) and are subject to the requirements set forth for the state of Washington.
- WHSBLA requires every program to identify a school associaltion. East Valley High School is our sponsor school.
- Our team is considered a conglomerate team which includes players from the East Valley, Eisenhower, Naches Valley, West Valley and Zillah High School boundaries. Students who attend private schools, or who are homeschooled, may participate if they live within one of the aforementioned district boundaries.
- We are a part of the Central Conference. Our league includes Chiawana, East Valley, Hanford, Hermiston, Kamiakin, Richland, Selah, Southridge, Walla Walla, and Wenatchee High Schools.
- Games will begin in March, 2024.
- Travel is not provided by the team. Families will need to provide their own transportation or are encouraged to carpool.
- Players will be required to arrive and be suited up for games 1 hour prior to game start time.
