Good Times MultiSport

I hereby give my full consent and approval for my child to participate at Good Times MultiSport camp. I understand and accept as high energy activities, there are certain risks of damages and injuries to the camper through his or her participation in all activities associated with the various multi-sports and activities, including the play of sports and activities, which may include the risk of serious and permanent injury and potentially death of the camper and other campers including, but not limited to those hazards associated with weather conditions, playing conditions, equipment, and other participants.
 
Therefore, in consideration of Good Times MultiSport permitting the camper to attend and participate in any of its activities, events, or games, I, on behalf of and for the camper, his or her heirs, representatives, executors and administrators, and myself, I do voluntarily elect to accept and solely assume all risks of injury incurred or suffered by my child (a) while playing as a participant of Good Times MultiSport; (b) while serving in a non-playing capacity as a Good Times MultiSport participant during all activities; and (c) while on or upon the premises of any and all of the fields, gyms, community centres, and facilities arranged for by my child's multisport group for all activities.
 
In addition to giving my full consent for my child's participation, I do hereby release and discharge (each of the following being a 'Released Party') Good Times MultiSport, and all facility providers (such as gyms, soccer fields, and community centres where an activity, event, or game may take place) and all directors, officers, employees, and agents of such parties, from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs including legal costs, and causes of action which may arise out of or in connection with any loss, injury, or damage to the camper or their property, which may be suffered or incurred while attending or participating in (including transportation to and from) a Good Times MultiSport activity, regardless of whether or not such loss, injury, or damage arose by reason of the negligence of a Released Party. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless all Released Parties from any and all losses, claims, demands, costs including legal costs, and damages that may be suffered or incurred by any Released Party arising out of or in any way connected with the camper's attendance at or participation in any such activity.

After June 1st 2024, camp fees are non-refundable. And no credits or refunds will be provided for days that campers do not attend.

Refunds of the camp fees (minus $50 processing fee) may only be made when written notice of cancellation and a request for refund is received by June 1st 2024.

Cancellations Due to Medical or Emergency Circumstances 

In some cases, refunds may be granted after the cancellation and refund period for medical or emergency circumstances only. A written notice of cancellation with explanation of medical or emergency circumstances must be provided for a refund request to be considered. Additional documentation may be requested. Partial or full refunds for medical or emergency circumstances will be at the discretion of Good Times MultiSport after reviewing the request. 

Bad Weather Days

We run camps rain or shine! 

Our goal is to be outside, enjoying summer, for all (or most) of every camp day. (Unless of course, we want to play dodgeball, or another game that works better inside!) 

We do know that weather can be unpredictable in Calgary – whether heat warnings, thunderstorms, rainy days, or poor air quality due to smoke – so that’s why all of our Good Times MultiSport camps have an indoor facility option. 

Therefore, we do not refund or credit for classes missed by choice due to weather. All children should come to camp with weather-appropriate clothing and related gear. 

Please note that most of our indoor options will require a modified program (for example, softer balls, lower-activity level activities), but we still plan our modified activities to be loaded with fun! Each camp's indoor program may look a little different, based on the space.

And unless there is a reason for us to be inside, we plan to be outside for all or most of every day!

Overall

Please evaluate your child's individual circumstances and make an informed decision regarding their participation in camp during days with poor air quality or less than ideal weather conditions. As our goal is to ensure consistent staffing throughout the program, along with the accompanying expenses of indoor spaces, we are unfortunately unable to provide credits or refunds if your child does not attend on days when air quality is lower than normal or less than ideal weather conditions.
