As a member of GNOWSL, you are part of a diverse and inclusive league where players of all skill levels come together to enjoy the game and create lasting connections. Whether you are here to compete, hone your skills, or simply have fun on the field, you are a valued member of our community.

What Happens Next?

In the coming weeks, your team captain will be reaching out to personally welcome you to the team. They will also guide you through joining the team’s communication platform, where you’ll receive important updates and have the chance to bond with your teammates.

Here’s What You Need to Know:

   •   Location: Games take place at Lafreniere Park, Field 4. Parking is available across from the fields and in the park lots. Be mindful of other park events that may impact parking availability.
   •   Essentials to Bring: Cleats, shin guards, soccer socks, and fluids. Wear comfortable athletic gear, and feel free to bring your own soccer ball for warm-ups.
   •   Jerseys: Your team captain will distribute jerseys about 10 minutes before your game. After the game, please return your jersey for cleaning.
   •   Arrival Time: Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to warm up and stretch. This helps prevent injuries and ensures you’re ready to enjoy the game.
   •   Game Duration: Each game consists of two 45-minute halves with a short break at halftime. Hydration is key, especially during warm weather.
   •   Sportsmanship: GNOWSL encourages a positive, supportive environment. Respect for all participants is expected. We are here for fun and camaraderie!
   •   Weather & Attendance: Keep an eye on the weather forecast and be sure to notify your captain in advance if you cannot attend a game. In the event of bad weather, the league will communicate any changes or cancellations.
