Refunds will be based on the percentage of the season completed as follows:

1. If a player withdraws before the start of practices or tryouts, they will receive a full refund of their club fees.
2. If a player withdraws after practices have started but before the first game of the season, they will receive a refund of 75% of their club fees.
3. If a player withdraws after the first game, there will be no refund given.
4. In the event of an injury, there will be no refund given. Per our Injury and Return To Play Policy, the player is expected to remain with the team and participate in any activities they are medically cleared for.
5. If a player is invited to participate as a practice squad player, the cost of registration will be 50% of the full season rate. The practice squad players will be entitled to refunds for any funds paid in excess of the 50% of the full season rate.

In the event that a GMFA team holds tryouts:
6. If a player is cut during tryouts, they will receive a full refund.
7. If a player makes the team and subsequently withdraws, there will be no refund given, unless a replacement player is found.

Refund Processing
Please note that refunds will not be issued until:
a) All provided equipment (e.g., helmets, shoulder pads) has been returned in good condition;
b) Any outstanding balance (net of refund) on the player's account is paid in full.

Refund Exceptions Please note that no refunds will be issued for:
a) Any equipment or uniform purchases made by the player or their parents/guardians.
b) Any Football Ontario or Football Canada registration fees, which may have been charged at the time of enrollment.
c) Any transaction fees incurred during the Registration process.
