Season Schedule

Outdoor Season: Starts in April - practices 2 to 3 times per week
Game Schedule: Games begin in May and run until the end of June (weekends)
Location: Games will be played at various fields throughout the city

Games follow Football Canada’s flag football rules
Mouthguards are mandatory for all players
Cleats are strongly recommended for better traction on the field

“I/We, the parent(s) or guardian(s), in consideration of your organizing a minor football League and in permitting my/our child to play, waive any right to action that I/we may have on behalf of my/our child for any cause whatsoever and agree that this waiver may be pleaded as an estoppel to any action against the League or any members of it including any coaching, managerial or administrative personnel of the said League. I/We further agree that I/we shall waive harmless, protect and indemnify the League, or any members of such League from any action that may be brought as a result of injuries of any nature whatsoever incurred by my/our child. Furthermore, I/we hereby forever release, discharge and hold harmless National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) and its membership, representatives or agents for any injury, loss or damage to my/our personal property howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with my/we taking in football activities and not withstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of NCAFA and its membership, representatives or agents.”

Flag Football Registration - Terms and Conditions

By registering for Flag Football with the Kanata Knights you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Non-Refundable Fees
All registration fees, including Football Ontario fees, are non-refundable. A non-refundable fee of $100 is charged upon registration. Once Game 1 has commenced, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Team Placement
Participants will be assigned to teams based on availability and skill level. The Kanata Knights reserve the right to adjust team rosters as necessary for competitive balance.
Medical Waiver
By registering, participants acknowledge that they are in good health and capable of participating in physical activities. The Kanata Knights are not responsible for any injuries that may occur during practices, games, or other events. Participants are encouraged to carry personal health insurance.
Code of Conduct
All participants, coaches, and parents must adhere to the code of conduct set forth by The Kanata Knights. Disrespectful or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the program without a refund.
Schedule Changes
The Kanata Knights reserves the right to make changes to the game or practice schedule due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, facility availability, or other factors. Participants will be notified in a timely manner of any changes.
Photography and Media Release
By registering, you consent to the use of your or your child's image, video, or audio recording for promotional purposes related to The Kanata Knights activities. If you do not wish to have your or your child's image used, please inform us in writing.
Liability Waiver
By completing the registration, participants waive any and all claims against The Kanata Knights, its staff, volunteers, or affiliates for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in Flag Football activities.
Compliance with Football Ontario Policies
All participants must comply with the policies and rules set forth by Football Ontario. These include, but are not limited to, their safety regulations, sportsmanship codes, and league guidelines.

Refund Policy

All registrations for flag football are non-refundable.
