La Pine Sports Academy Behavior Contract

Purpose

This contract outlines the expectations for behavior at events hosted by La Pine Sports Academy. Our goal is to create a positive and respectful environment for all participants, including athletes, coaches, parents, and spectators.

Good Sportsmanship Requirements

• Respect for All Participants: Treat all athletes, coaches, referees, and spectators with respect, kindness, and courtesy.
• Encouragement: Always support and encourage athletes, emphasizing teamwork and effort over winning.
• Positive Communication: Use positive language and constructive feedback when interacting with players and officials.

Polite Behavior Requirements

• No Negativity or Harassment: There will be zero tolerance for negativity, harassment, or any form of bullying directed at any participant.
• Coaching Conduct: Coaches are prohibited from yelling at athletes. Constructive feedback should be given in a calm and respectful manner.
• Parental Conduct: Parents must refrain from yelling at their children, coaches, referees, or other parents. Disagreements should be handled privately and respectfully.
• Spectator Conduct: All spectators are expected to maintain a positive atmosphere. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

Abuse

Abuse of any kind, including verbal abuse, is not tolerated at LPSA. Any member involved will be removed from the event and contacted by the discipline committee.  They may face legal action. We are committed to keeping our environment safe for everyone.

Dispute Resolution

• Appropriate Channels: Any disputes or complaints must be addressed through the appropriate channels. This includes speaking directly to coaches or event organizers in a respectful manner.
• No Public Complaints: Under no circumstances should disputes be aired on social media or in front of children and families. All concerns should be handled privately.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the La Pine Sports Academy Sports Behavior Contract. I agree to adhere to all guidelines and promote a positive sporting environment for everyone involved.

Refunds

• After the first game no refunds will be offered. 
• Once teams are formed 50% refunds may be issued for full withdrawl from the program. 
• Prior to being assigned to a team you may request a full refund by emailing reg@lapinesports.com
• Refunds will not be offered for participants and families who are unable to appropriately aquit themselves socially with their peers, coaches, other parents administrators or officials.  Injury or other legitimate reasons why a participant cannot continue may be consideration for a refund or credit for future program fees.  
• The community sponsorship and foundation grant is not refundable and has no cash value should you withdraw from the program.
