Bothell Lacrosse Club Policies

Terms and Conditions:

These policies apply to those players who meet club eligibility rules and their parents and guardians. The Bothell Lacrosse Club (BLC), hereby refered to as 'the club' or BLC, reserves the right to update policy terms and conditions at any time.

Team Roster Policy

An eligible player, registered with the club, will be rostered to a team for the spring or fall season under any of the following conditions:

  1. Registration fees are paid in full,
  2. 25% of registration fee is paid and a payment plan has been established with the Club Treasurer to pay the remainder on schedule, or
  3. A scholarship request has been received, a scholarship amount has been approved by the executive board, 20% of the adjusted registration fee is paid, and a payment plan has been established with the club treasurer to pay the remainder on schedule.

A player fulfilling all other club requirements will remain eligible to practice with the team and participate in games as long as the family is in good standing with their established payment plan or conditions for an approved scholarship.

Family Participation

The Bothell Lacrosse Club operates almost entirely on volunteers and we need all families to participate.  Field set up/breakdown for home games and staffing the officials table at all games are critical elements for a successful season.  While it may be intimidating at first to fill these positions, it is very important that every family participate.  For any home game, it can take up to 4 people to adequately prepare the field, plus another 3 to staff the table.  For a 10-game season that equates to 50 volunteer slots.  Therefore each family is expected to help out at games a minimum of 3-4 times in a season, depending upon your team size.

Scholarships

The Bothell Lacrosse Club endeavors to make lacrosse open to any child who lives within the club’s geographic boundaries. We do not want registration fees to be a barrier for kids to participate. As a result, partial scholarships are available for help cover regular season registration fees. Tournament fees are not scholarshiped. Requests for partial scholarships are made by sending an email to the Club President. While requests are approved by the Board, individual names are kept confidential. Families receiving scholarships are asked to take an active role in club activities, such as team manager, organizing senior night, equipment manager, etc., in addition to the normal participation expected by all families in the Club (timer, scorekeeper, spotter, field set up). In addition, families are asked to participate in other fundraising activities.

  1. If a player is injured, has an illness that ends participation or withdraws from school before the mid-point of a season, a full refund will be granted if requested.
  2. If more than 50% of the season is completed, a 50% refund will be granted.
  3. Any student who quits a team will not be eligible for a refund.

By registering with TeamLinkt, you commit to adhere to the refund policies, fees, and timelines set by your chosen organization or program. You commit not to initiate any chargebacks.  Deviations from this policy may result in the forfeiture of any refund.
