Louisiana Flag Football - Coach Registration Terms and Conditions

By registering as a coach for the Louisiana Flag Football Spring Season, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before completing your registration.

1. Coach Eligibility

• All coaches must be at least 18 years old.
• Coaches must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.

2. Team Requirements

• 6U Division: Coaches may bring up to 8 players.
• 8U, 10U, and 12U Divisions: Coaches may bring up to 5 players, including their own child. The remaining participants will be assigned using a team assigning generator to ensure balanced rosters.
• All rosters must be finalized by Saturday, March 1st, 2025.

3. Code of Conduct

• Coaches are expected to promote good sportsmanship, fair play, and a positive environment for all players, parents, and officials.
• Inappropriate conduct, including the use of profanity or aggressive behavior, will not be tolerated and may lead to disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the league.
• Coaches must respect game officials' decisions and refrain from disputing calls.

4. Practice and Game Responsibilities

• Coaches may begin scheduling practices as soon as their entire team has been registered and finalized.
• Coaches are responsible for organizing and managing practices, ensuring players are informed about practice schedules and game times.
• Coaches must attend all games or designate an assistant coach to manage the team in their absence.

5. Uniforms and Equipment

• The league will provide custom Louisiana Flag Football jerseys, flags, and team balls. Coaches must ensure these items are available at all games and practices.
• Coaches are responsible for verifying that all players have the required equipment, such as mouthpieces.

6. Game Day Expectations

• Coaches should arrive at least 15 minutes before game time to ensure players are ready and prepared.
• Coaches are responsible for their team's behavior and should make sure that players adhere to league rules and guidelines.
• Coaches should help maintain a clean and safe environment by picking up trash and returning equipment after games.

7. Injury and Liability

• Louisiana Flag Football is not liable for any injuries sustained during practices, games, or other league activities.
• Coaches are encouraged to have basic first aid knowledge and be prepared for emergencies.
• Any injuries occurring during games or practices must be reported to the league administration immediately.

8. Team Assignment Policy

• All remaining participants not brought by coaches (beyond the allowed number) will be assigned to teams using a team assigning generator.
• Coaches may not make changes to assigned rosters without prior approval from the league administration.

9. Mandatory Coaches Meetings

• Coaches are required to attend a mandatory meeting prior to the season beginning.
• Failure to attend may result in forfeiting your coaching position unless prior arrangements are made with the league administration.

10. Disciplinary Actions

• Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in disciplinary action, including verbal warnings, written notices, suspension, or removal from the league.
• The league administration reserves the right to make final decisions regarding any disputes or disciplinary matters.

11. Acceptance of Terms

• By submitting the coach registration form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
