Louisiana Flag Football Cheer Program Terms and Conditions

By registering for the Louisiana Flag Football Cheer Program, participants and their legal guardians agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

• Participants must be between the ages of 4-12 as of the program's stated cutoff date.

2. Registration and Fees

• Registration is considered complete once all required information is submitted and the registration fee is paid in full.
• All fees are non-refundable unless the program is canceled by Louisiana Flag Football.
• Registration fees cover program administration, uniforms, accessories, and other cheer-related expenses.

3. Team Placement

• Cheerleaders will be placed in teams based on age groups and location, ensuring that participants are grouped appropriately for practices and performances.
• Team assignments will be communicated after registration closes.

4. Uniforms and Equipment

• The program will provide uniforms (cheer tops and skirts) for all participants.
• Cheerleaders are required to provide their own personal equipment, including athletic shoes (mandatory) and other accessories (e.g., hair bows, water bottles).

5. Code of Conduct

• All participants, including cheerleaders, coaches, and spectators, must adhere to the program's Code of Conduct to maintain a positive environment.
• Inappropriate behavior such as the use of offensive language, aggressive conduct, or unsportsmanlike behavior may lead to disciplinary action, up to suspension or removal from the program.

6. Attendance at Practices and Performances

• Cheerleaders are expected to attend all scheduled practices and game-day performances. If a participant is unable to attend, they must inform their coach in advance.
• Failure to attend practices may impact a cheerleader's participation in performances.

7. Injury Waiver

• By registering, participants and their legal guardians acknowledge the inherent risks associated with cheerleading activities, including the risk of injury.

8. Photography and Media Release

• Registration grants the program permission to use photographs or videos taken during practices and performances for promotional purposes (e.g., social media, websites, brochures).
• Participants or guardians who prefer not to be included in media must notify the program in writing.

9. Admission Fees

• Admission fees apply to adult spectators at all games where cheerleaders perform.
• Players, cheerleaders, coaches, and children under 12 are admitted free.

10. Weather Policy

• In the event of inclement weather, practices or performances may be rescheduled. Participants will be notified of any changes as promptly as possible.
• No refunds will be issued for canceled activities due to weather, but the program will make every effort to reschedule.

11. Refund Policy

• No refunds will be given once registration is complete, except if the program is canceled by Louisiana Flag Football.
• Refund requests for injury or exceptional circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by program management.

12. Communication

• The program will share important updates through email, text messages, or social media. It is the responsibility of participants and their guardians to stay informed by checking for updates regularly.

By registering for the Louisiana Flag Football Cheer Program, participants and their legal guardians confirm their acceptance of these terms and conditions.
