Please read through the following points as our structure has changed. 

  1. Summer League is open to girls 4th through 7th grades who have at least one multi-session skating clinic or one year of team play, and have their own full gear (required). We will play on six Fridays at Troubh Ice Arena at 6:10pm, starting June 7th and ending on August 2nd, 2024. Exact times will be shared with you when teams are selected.
  2. At the moment we have capacity to accept 40 girls (12 forwards and 6 defense per team, plus two goalies) There may be openings for subs based on week-to-week availability. 
  3. MGIHA will be employing contracted refs again this season. If you know someone interested reffing (paid), please reach out to info@MGIHA.org. 
  4. Goalies: Please use discount code GOALIE for a reduced cost.

As further consideration for registration and participation in MGIHA events and member team activities, Participant (and parent(s)/guardian(s), if applicable), hereby (1) consents and agrees that MGIHA, its licensees and designees may make video and/or audio recordings of and/or otherwise film, photograph or memorialize some or all of Participant’s participation in such events and activities, and (2) grants to MGIHA, its licensees, designees, successors and assigns, a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, fully-paid, royalty-free, transferable and sublicenseable right and license to use, copy and disseminate Participant’s image and personal attributes, and to modify and present same in any form, manner and media, now known or hereafter devised, for any purpose whatsoever.
MGIHA coaches are encouraged to attend the online CDC Heads Up Concussion training to help identify and prevent concussions in their athletes. If a coach recommends that a player leave the ice or bench due to a suspected protocol, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian of the player to help them get the necessary medical care. It is the responsibility of the player and their family to communicate with the coaching staff about the player's availability in the weeks following the suspected concussion.
