American Youth Cheer (AYC) divisions are aged based. Placement of participants on a cheer roster is based on their age as of July 31 of the current year. Teams may be categorized as small v. large based on the number of cheerleaders per squad, as well as, level 1, 2, 3 or 4 depending on skill ability.

Once the registration process has been completed, cheerleaders will be assigned to a squad. Each cheerleader will be notified of their team placement in June. There are four (4) divisions in all wtih a broad range of ages per division. Additional information may be found on the Cheer tab of our website. Mansfield Youth Football and Cheer is run by volunteers. By registering to participate, you will be expected to volunteer to support games/competitions and/or fundraising.

Student demonstrators will be reviewed by the Board and Cheer Committee and contacted closer to the start of the season.
