Registration is now open for Metro Warriors Homeschool Volleyball. Practice for Jr High will begin the week of August 6th and end October 29th before the Nationals Tournament (Oct 30-Nov 2). 8th grade girls are welcome to try out for the JV team July 30th and August 1st with the High School teams.

PRACTICE TIMES

Daytime practices for girls will be held at UBT Sports Complex in Elkhorn.

Girls Grades 6-8: Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00-3:30
Girls Grade 5: Thursdays ONLY 1:00-3:30

PARENT MEETING

There will be a Parent/Player meeting August 1st at 12:45 pm.

REGISTRATION

REGISTRATION ends June 26th.

Elementary Fee: $150 (5th grade)
Jr High Fee: $250 (6th-8th grade)

For multi-athlete families, you will receive an automatic $30 discount for every athlete registered AFTER the first athlete registration.

UNIFORM

All players, including Elementary and Junior High, will need to purchase a pair of ALL black shorts for their uniform. Under Armour has a good pair that many players have gotten - just make sure it's all black and has a minimum 3" inseam. You may find it cheaper on Dick's or on Amazon. Elementary and Jr High teams will receive a jersey to borrow in the first weeks of practice. High School teams will need to purchase a jersey that they can then keep and reuse each year - $25 for the first year purchased, $50 for each additional jersey.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

When registering, there is an option to split the total fee into payments. Additional fees for tournament play and travel may apply depending on the team. Please contact the Warrior board to discuss financial options if you are in financial need.

GAMES/TOURNAMENTS

Jr High and Elementary games are run through PAL Volleyball. PAL games begin Friday, August 23rd and end Saturday, October 26th. There is an end-of-season tournament for 6th-8th grade October 25-26th. Additionally we have the girls participate in the Jr High Division at our Nationals Tournament Oct 30-Nov 2.

PAL games are held Friday, Saturdays and Sundays (we ask after 2 pm) at different locations around town. Last year, we hosted games at Papillion Landing on Friday evenings and will try to do that again this year. The PAL schedule is announced usually 2 weeks before the first games.

There may also be an opportunity for upper Jr High teams to participate in the Lincoln Cougars Tournament (Aug 23-24) and the Central NE Tournament (Sept 17).
