PINTO (8u Kid-Pitch) players are introduced to kid pitching (from 38') and base stealing.  There are no walks, instead at ball 4 the coach takes over pitching.  Scores, standings and playoffs are included in this division.  League-age 7 year olds (age before May 1) who have not played at least one season in the Pinto (7u Machine-Pitch) division are recommended to play that division instead of moving up to 8u Kid-Pitch.  It's an important stepping stone from the Shetland (6u) Division to increase in competitiveness as well as pitching speed, which greatly helps increase hitting skills and confidence before they start facing the real player pitching.

REGISTRATION NOT COMPLETE TILL PAYMENT MADE.

PLAYERS CANNOT BE PLACED ONTO TEAMS UNTIL FULL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE

PROOF OF AGE IS REQUIRED (birth certificate, etc).

WAIVERS

REQUIREMENTS – You can choose to opt out of the fundraiser by paying an extra $40 in this registration, or you can agree to participate. Not meeting agreed upon requirements will subject player/parent to any or all of the following:
• being denied the option to participate in future fundraisers (must instead pay the opt-out fee)
• being unable to register for future seasons without paying previous fundraiser requirements
• being ineligible to participate in that seasons all-star tryouts or teams
• being ineligible for post-season play (playoffs)
• being denied free league picture package and any ordered pictures until requirement is met
• being denied any or all of the "free" benefits (Closing Day Carnival wrist-band, player awards, etc) that are part of the Menifee Pony registration

It is an unfortunate necessity having to enforce repercussions but the fundraiser is important for the benefit of the league.

THE PURPOSE of our league fundraiser is to keep registration fees down. With no league fundraiser prices would be higher. You can opt-out of the fundraiser by paying an additional fee ($40), leaving you with what is still a very good price considering everything that is offered. If you do choose to participate in the league fundraiser that fee is waived, but by agreeing to participate you are agreeing that you must complete the fundraiser in it's entirety.

The League Fundraiser will be our Annual Hit-A-Thon. You can learn more about it on our ‘League Fundraiser’ page under the ‘Resources’ tab of our website.
'FULLY Participate' means meeting all requirements (listed above) or losing several league privileges (listed above)
You can view our MPB Local Rules & MPB Bylaws on the link below. By signing this waiver you are acknowledging you have read and agree to all conduct policies and all rules included in those two documents. These documents may be amended prior to January 1 (in spring season) and August 1 (in fall season) and it is your responsibility to re-check those documents on or after that date. If you wish to cancel registration due to disagreement with rules changes in one of those two documents you must complete our Refund Request Form (under 'Rules & Forms' tab) on or before January 2 (in spring season) or August 2 (in fall season) to receive a full refund. Any amendments to those documents will always include a 'Revised' date at the bottom of each page of that document for reference.

A concussion is a type of traumatic brain injury—or TBI—caused by a bump, blow, or jolt to the head or by a hit to the body that causes the head and brain to move quickly back and forth. This fast movement can cause the brain to bounce around or twist in the skull, creating chemical changes in the brain and sometimes stretching and damaging the brain cells. Please read the 'Concussion Information Sheet' document on the link below, discuss the risks of concussion with your child or teen and sign below.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is a life-threatening emergency that occurs when the heart suddenly stops beating. It strikes people of all ages who may seem to be healthy, even children and teens.
