REGISTRATION INFORMATION

FEES

  • $1250 Team fee
  • ·Additional Mandatory Insurance Fees for Football Ontario ($27.00) & Football Canada ($15.00) will be added to the registration.
  • (Registration fee includes a $150 Non-refundable Try-out and administration fee)

    Payment Options of Visa or MasterCard will be available at time of check out.  For early registrations a payment plan option is available at checkout. 

  • Cheques for fees are no longer accepted.
  • No refund will be issued if a player quits after the first game
  • Refund portion (fees minus 150 which include try-out and admin fees) will occur only if a player is cut prior to participation in his/her first regular season game.
  • ·At equipment pickup, a $350 Equipment deposit-cheque or filled out credit card form is required and will be returned upon the equipment return. Please post date cheque for August 1, 2025

     

    ELIGIBILITY

    Myers Riders Football Club is a member of the Ontario Summer Football League (OSFL) and operates in an open territory league. Our club is open to all players in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. New players, or players who did not play with Myers last season, are welcome to join. If you're unsure of your eligibility, please email us at mrfc.coordinator@gmail.com.

The Club would like to tell the community about its many positive endeavors by way of its website. Rosters, photos (and similar) may be posted on the website, however these will only be posted with the permission of a parent/guardian.

Refund Policy:

Thank you for participating with Myers Riders Football Club. We strive to provide an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for all players. Below is our refund policy outlining the conditions under which refunds will be issued:

1. **No Refund After First Game:** No refund will be issued if a player decides to quit after participating in their first game of the season.

2. **Refund Eligibility:** Refunds, minus a $150 processing fee which includes try-out and administrative costs, will only be considered under the following circumstances:

   - **Player Cut Before First Regular Season Game:** A refund of the registration fees, minus the $150 processing fee, will be issued if a player is cut from the team prior to participating in their first regular season game.

3. **Process for Requesting Refunds:** To request a refund, eligible players or guardians must submit a written request to the team manager within 10 days of the qualifying event (e.g., player cut / quit). The request must include the player's name, team, and reason for requesting the refund.

4. **Refund Disbursement:** Refunds will be processed within 10 days of receiving the written refund request. Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment method.

5. **Non-Transferability:** Refunds are non-transferable and can only be issued to the original payer.

6. **Exceptional Circumstances:** In exceptional circumstances, such as injury or extenuating personal circumstances, the organization reserves the right to consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

7. **Changes to Policy:**Myers Riders Football Club reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other official communication channels.

By participating with Myers Riders Football Club, players and guardians acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this refund policy.
