 REGISTRATION INFORMATION

FEES

  • $495 Team fee for, U16 (2009-2010) Bantam
  • $495 Team fee for, U14 (2011-2012) Peewee
  • $375 Team fee for, U12 (2013-2014) Mosquito
  • $375 Team fee for, U10 (2015-2016) Tyke
  • ·Additional Mandatory Insurance Fees for Football Ontario ($27.00) & Football Canada ($15.00) will be added to the registration.
  • (Registration fee includes a $100 Non-refundable Try-out and administration fee)

    Payment Options of Visa or MasterCard will be available at time of check out.  For early registrations a payment plan option is available at checkout. 

  • Cheques for fees are no longer accepted.
  • No refund will be issued if a player quits after the first game
  • Refund portion (fees minus 100 which include try-out and admin fees) will occur only if a player is cut prior to participation in his/her first regular season game.
  • ·At equipment pickup, a $350 Equipment deposit-cheque or filled out credit card form is required and will be returned upon the equipment return. Please post date cheque for November 1, 2023

     

    ELIGIBILITY

    Myers Riders Football Club is part of the NCAFA (National Capital Amateur Football Association).  We are a territory-based league.  Any new players or players who have not player with Myers last season must reside in Myers territory or live in an open zone. NCAFA Required Documents

“I/We, the parent(s) or guardian(s), in consideration of your organizing a minor football League and in permitting my/our child to play, waive any right to action that I/we may have on behalf of my/our child for any cause whatsoever and agree that this waiver may be pleaded as an estoppel to any action against the League or any members of it including any coaching, managerial or administrative personnel of the said League. I/We further agree that I/we shall waive harmless, protect and indemnify the League, or any members of such League from any action that may be brought as a result of injuries of any nature whatsoever incurred by my/our child. Furthermore, I/we hereby forever release, discharge and hold harmless National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) and its membership, representatives or agents for any injury, loss or damage to my/our personal property howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with my/we taking in football activities and not withstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of NCAFA and its membership, representatives or agents.”
Fall Tackle is open to both boys and girls.
This includes any Flag or Tackle Football program offered by NCAFA.

The Club would like to tell the community about its many positive endeavors by way of its website. Rosters, photos (and similar) may be posted on the website, however these will only be posted with the permission of a parent/guardian.

Refund Policy:

Thank you for participating with Myers Riders Football Club. We strive to provide an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for all players. Below is our refund policy outlining the conditions under which refunds will be issued:

1. **No Refund After First Game:** No refund will be issued if a player decides to quit after participating in their first game of the season.

2. **Refund Eligibility:** Refunds, minus a $100 processing fee which includes try-out and administrative costs, will only be considered under the following circumstances:

   - **Player Cut Before First Regular Season Game:** A refund of the registration fees, minus the $100 processing fee, will be issued if a player is cut from the team prior to participating in their first regular season game.

3. **Process for Requesting Refunds:** To request a refund, eligible players or guardians must submit a written request to the team manager within 10 days of the qualifying event (e.g., player cut / quit). The request must include the player's name, team, and reason for requesting the refund.

4. **Refund Disbursement:** Refunds will be processed within 10 days of receiving the written refund request. Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment method.

5. **Non-Transferability:** Refunds are non-transferable and can only be issued to the original payer.

6. **Exceptional Circumstances:** In exceptional circumstances, such as injury or extenuating personal circumstances, the organization reserves the right to consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

7. **Changes to Policy:**Myers Riders Football Club reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other official communication channels.

By participating with Myers Riders Football Club, players and guardians acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this refund policy.
