Junior Program Description:

Welcome to our Fall Netball Junior Program—a comprehensive 12-week course designed for children aged from 6 to 13.

The program will begin with an evaluation session where our coaches will organize players into teams. This process not only promotes strong team bonding but also establishes a consistent schedule of one practice session per week and a game night on Sundays.

Our experienced coaches will focus on introducing and enhancing fundamental netball skills in a fun and positive environment. Participants can expect engaging sessions twice a week, filled with excitement, teamwork, skill development activities, and enjoyable games.

Session Format:

• Skills and Drills: Weekly sessions will emphasize specific netball skills through engaging drills, building a solid foundation in the sport. Sessions will also incorporate game play, allowing participants to apply their skills in a fun and interactive setting.
• Game Play Focus: The second weekly session will shift towards a game-focused approach, providing a platform for kids to apply their skills in an enjoyable and interactive environment.

Program Details:

• Sundays: September 15th - December 8th (excluding October 13th and November 10th) from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Southland Leisure Centre (2000 D Southland Dr SW, Calgary, AB T2V 4S4)
• Wednesdays: September 18th - November 27th (excluding November 13th and December 4th) from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Nellie McClung School (2315 Palliser Dr SW, Calgary, AB T2V 3S4)
  • ​Please be advised that if the class size is large, we may divide the practice sessions into two separate one-hour intervals for each team. This adjustment will ensure that all participants receive adequate space and coaching time.
