Little Knights After School Lacrosse Program

The Little Knights AfterSchool Lacrosse program introduces young players to the sport, helping them develop basic stick and ball skills in a fun and safe environment. This co-ed program is a collaboration between Newport Boys Lacrosse and NSI Girls Lacrosse organizations. Experienced adult coaches and skilled high school players will lead the program. We provide all necessary lacrosse equipment, making it accessible for newcomers. Each session is divided evenly between practice and gameplay, ensuring participants have fun while learning the basics of lacrosse. Only lacrosse sticks are used, along with soft lacrosse or tennis balls, to maintain safety. If your child is looking for a fun, after-school sport to enjoy with friends, this program is the perfect choice!

Location: Somerset Elementary School Field

Dates/Time:

Thursday 2:45pm - 4:00pm
9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30 (Thursdays - total 6 sessions)

Cost: $60 for 6 sessions. Note: Insurance fee is included in the registration cost.

Maximun Participants: 20 players

Communication: We will use TeamLinkt for all communications so please make sure to install the TeamLinkt App.

Parent Participation: We need at least 2 parent volunteers supporting each session. This participation is required, and we need parents' help to run the program (e.g., check attendance, hand out and manage sticks, help the kids go to the restroom). Note: If we do not have a parent volunteer available for a session, we may have to cancel that session.
