Our league is designed to maximize playing time and ensure a positive experience for all:
- Team Size: 10-player rosters to guarantee everyone plays.
- Season Length: 8–10 weeks, including skills & drills, regular-season games, playoffs, and tournament.
- Practice Schedule: Practices are suggusted to be one hour before games, with optional midweek practices at the coach’s discretion.
What’s Included
Each player receives:
- A game shirt, pocketless shorts, and flags.
Players will be required to provide:
- Mouthguard (Mandatory), running shoes or cleats, and water bottle.
No Tryouts or Drafts
Each team will have a maximum of 10 players to ensure everyone gets plenty of playing time. Friend requests are accepted, and while we do our best to accommodate them, they are not guaranteed.
We are happy to allow groups of friends to play together, as we know this adds to the fun and overall experience. Teams are formed with a focus on balance, so every team has a fair chance to compete.
In some cases, if a team is found to be consistently dominating games and creating an unbalanced experience for other teams, the league may step in. If that happens, we will first have a conversation with the coaches involved to explore solutions before any changes are made.
Code of Conduct
All players, coaches, parents/guardians, and spectators must adhere to our Code of Conduct (available on our main website @ FootballNiagara.com) Violations may result in sanctions from Flag Football Niagara or its governing bodies.
