Get ready to lace up your sneakers and bring your A-game to the 2025 Fall Adult Basketball League! Whether you're a seasoned baller or just looking to get back on the court, this league promises high-energy competition, tons of fun, and a chance to connect with fellow hoop enthusiasts.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Competitive Play: Each game offers a chance to test your skills in a friendly but competitve environment. The league is designed to give players of all levels the opportunity to challenge themselves, improve their game, and push their limits, all while enjoying the thrill of basketball.
  • Two Exciting Divisions: Choose the competition level that's right for you:
    • Division 1: This is where the serious players shine. If you’ve got high school or college experience, or you regularly compete at a high level, this division is for you. Get ready to face off against some of the best talent around and take your skills to the next level.
    • Division 2: Love to hoop but not quite ready to dunk on anyone? No problem! This division is perfect for players who are comfortable with competitive play but want to keep the fun, friendly vibe alive. It's all about enjoying the game without the pressure of being posterized.
  • Social Media Highlights: Get your 15 minutes of fame! Each week, we'll feature highlights from the best plays, epic moments, and buzzer-beaters on our social media channels. Who knows? You might just make it to the top of the highlight reel!
  • Player of the Game: After every game, we'll recognize the standout player of the game. Will you be the one to claim the title and the spotlight?
  • Game Stats: All games are recorded with detailed stats, so you can track your performance throughout the season. From points to assists, rebounds to steals, we've got it all covered!

LEAGUE REGISTRATION

  • This registration form must be filled out and submitted with payment in order to play in the league. No late registrations will be accepted -- no exceptions.
  • A TeamLinkt account is required to complete the registration form. Be sure to remember your TeamLinkt login as you will need it to access the league app.
    • (NOTE: On the last step of registration, you may be presented with two offers from TeamLinkt. Feel free to select 'No' for both offers, as neither is required for participation in this league.)
  • Payment is due at the end of the registration form and can be made via credit/debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Cash payments will not be accepted.
  • Games will be played at the Middle River Recreation Activity Center (RAC) located at 9702 Community Dr, Middle River, MD 21220.

Number must be in the following ranges (0-5, 10-15, 20-25, 30-35, 40-45, & 50-55). We will do our best to assign you the number you have requested; however, if none of your preferred numbers are available, a random number will be assigned.

Rules and Procedures

1. I will play by the rules established in this document.
2. I will not smoke, vape, or bring weed/illegal drugs while on the property. I will also inform any guests that I invite to the game that the property is a smoke/drug free location and they will be asked to leave if they do not abide by this rule.
3. I will not use foul or derogatory language at any time while in the gym. I also understand that any guests I invite to the game are expected to behave in the same manner in an effort to keep the gym a family friendly environment.
4. I will not make any modifications to the jersey/t-shirt issued to me.
5. I will show respect to all coaches, referees, fans, teammates, and opposing players at all times, and will never act in a manner that is disrespectful to them or my team.
6. I will be respectful when communicating with the referees which includes refraining from constant or aggressive questioning of decisions by the referees.
7. I will demonstrate good sportsmanship regardless of the score or situation by acting in a positive manner towards coaches, referees, players, and fans.
8. I will shake hands with the other team after games.
9. I will help to clean the area around the bench after each game.
10. I understand that if the code of conduct is not followed there is a 3 strike policy as follows:

1st strike – WARNING FROM LEAGUE COMMISSIONER
2nd strike – MISS NEXT SCHEDULED GAME
3rd strike – DISQUALIFIED FROM PLAYING IN LEAGUE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON

NOTE: Any technical foul that a referee calls against a player during a game will count as a strike for that player.
1. No food or drink allowed in the gym other than water.
2. No gum allowed.
3. No cleats/heels.
4. Adults are responsible for supervising and monitoring any non-participating children that accompanied
them.
5. Players are not allowed in the gym until a coach is present.
6. Coaches or responsible party must ensure that all children have been picked up before leaving the building.
7. Coaches are responsible for supervising and monitoring all participants on their team.
8. Coaches are responsible for the conduct of all parents and spectators representing their team.
9. Clean up belongings/put items away after use.
10. No inflatables.
11. No confetti, tape, glue, fog machines, bubble machines, or helium balloons for decorating.
12. Clothes are to be worn at all times and shorts/pants must be worn at the waist.
13. Gang related paraphernalia will not be permitted in the facility.
14. Hard baseballs/softballs are not allowed to be used for batting/fielding drills. Lacrosse must use a soft
ball/alternate ball.
15. Only staff are permitted to adjust basketball hoops.
16. Be respectful of BCRP property as well as school property.
17. Refrain from bouncing balls or practicing in the hallway.
18. Doors to the exterior are not to be propped open.
19. No smoking, vaping, or illegal substances are permitted.
20. No one who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be allowed into the facility.
21. No unapproved selling of concessions.
22. Profanity and foul language will not be tolerated.
23. No fighting allowed in the gym.
24. No hanging on the basketball rims.
25. No changing of clothes in the gym.
26. No climbing on gym equipment.
27. No outdoor seats are allowed in the gym.
28. No noise-making items are permitted in gyms (e.g, whistles, horns, clappers, etc.) except for those items
utilized by game officials and official clock operators.
29. Department staff monitor gym capacity and may refuse entry into the gym if capacity is reached or there is concern for the safety of all present in the gym.
30. No animals allowed in the facility unless it is an approved service animal. The department must be notified
in advance of any service animals that may be entering the facility.

Release And Waiver Of Liability, Assumption Of Risk, And Indemnity ('Agreement')

IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to participate in any way in any BASKETBALL activity ('Activity') at any time during the current calendar year I, for myself, my personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin:

1. ACKNOWLEDGE, agree and represent that I understand the nature of BASKETBALL  Activities and that I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such Activity. I further agree and warrant that if at any time I believe the conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue further participation in the Activity.

2. FULLY UNDERSTAND that: (a) BASKETBALL  ACTIVITIES INVOLVE RISKS AND DANGERS OF SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, INCLUDING PERMANENT DISABILITY, PARALYSIS, AND DEATH ('Risks'); (b) these Risks and dangers may be caused by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Activity, the condition in which the Activity takes place, or THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE 'RELEASEES' NAMED BELOW; (c) there may be OTHER RISKS AND SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC LOSSES either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time; and I FULLY ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSSES, COSTS, AND DAMAGES I incur as a result of my participation or that of the minor in the Activity.

3. HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the POINT CITY SPORTS, its administrators, directors, agents, officers, members, volunteers, team members, and employees, other participants, any sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises on which the Activity takes place, (each considered one of the RELEASEES herein) FROM ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ON MY ACCOUNT CAUSED OR ALLEGED TO BE CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS; AND I FURTHER AGREE that if, despite this RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT I, or anyone on my behalf, makes a claim against any of the Releasees, I WILL INDEMNIFY, SAVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE RELEASEES from any litigation expenses, attorney fees, loss, liability, damage, or cost which may be incurred as the result of such claim.

I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT AND HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT OR ASSURANCE OF ANY NATURE AND INTEND IT TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW AND AGREE THAT IF ANY PORTION OF THIS AGREEMENT IS HELD TO BE INVALID, THE BALANCE, NOTWITHSTANDING, SHALL CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.


All registration fees for the 2025 Fall Adult Basketball League are non-refundable after September 21, 2025. Exceptions to this policy are made only in the case of an injury that prevents a player from participating in more than 50% of the season's scheduled games.

To request a refund under this exception, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Medical Documentation: The player must provide valid medical documentation confirming the injury and the inability to participate in more than 50% of the season.
  2. Notification: The request for a refund, along with the required documentation, must be submitted to the league commissioner as soon as possible after the injury occurs.

Please note that all refund requests are subject to review and approval by the league commissioners. The decision of the league commissioners is final.
