Rampage Volleyball Centre – Pre‑Registration Notice

Thank you for your interest in joining the Rampage Grassroots Volleyball Program in Diamond Valley! Before completing your registration, please review the details below to ensure a smooth start to the season.

Program Details

  • Day: Monday evenings

  • Time: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

  • Location: CIM School or Oilfields High School (final site confirmation will be emailed prior to start)

What to Bring

  • Indoor running shoes (non‑marking)

  • Knee pads (optional but helpful for comfort and confidence)

  • Water bottle

  • Comfortable athletic clothing

Refund Policy Reminder​

  • General Programs: Refund requests must be emailed to rampagevbcentre@gmail.com prior to program start. Will charge $20.00 servie fee plus any attended classes.

By completing registration, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable refund policy for your program.

In order for players to be covered underinsurance they must be registered with Volleyball Alberta as a recreation player.

2026 SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY
Purpose
Social media is an important way for the Rampage Volleyball Centre to connect with families, athletes, coaches, and supporters. This policy ensures that all members conduct themselves responsibly, respectfully, and safely online. The actions of one individual can affect the image of the entire Centre. As participants in amateur sport, we must promote respect, safety, and fair play in all online interactions.
Definitions
Social Media — Any online or digital communication platform, including but not limited to: blogs, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, websites, messaging apps, and similar platforms. Rampage Volleyball Centre Member — All athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, directors, officers, team managers, administrators, and employees.
This policy applies to all members with zero tolerance.
Infractions
1. Posting hateful, insulting, disrespectful, disparaging, harmful, or negative comments directed at individuals or groups associated with the Rampage Volleyball Centre and/or Calgary Minor Volleyball.
2. Creating or contributing to online groups or platforms that promote negative remarks about the Centre.
3. Posting harmful, offensive, or disrespectful images or videos targeting any affiliate of the Centre.
4. Any cyber bullying or cyber harassment, including insults, threats, impersonation, rumors, pranks, or harmful behavior via social media, text, or email.
5. Any online behavior that brings discredit to the sport of volleyball.
Member Responsibilities
• Members must be aware that their social media activity may be monitored.
• Removing content after posting does not exempt a member from consequences.
• Members should report violations to the Centre.
Consequences
Unacceptable content may result in disciplinary action in accordance with: Rampage Volleyball Centre Bylaws, Alberta Volleyball Association Code of Conduct, Confidentiality, Code of Conduct, and Abuse & Harassment Policies. All decisions are made by the Disciplinary Committee. This is a zero tolerance policy. All rulings are final with no right to appeal.

2026 PARENT/GUARDIAN CODE OF CONDUCT & AGREEMENT
Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct
Parents and spectators represent the Rampage Volleyball Centre at all events. Your behavior influences the experience of all athletes, families, and officials.
Parent Expectations
• I will remember that youth sports exist for the enjoyment and development of children.
• I will prioritize my child’s emotional and physical well being over any desire to win.
• I will ensure my child arrives on time with all required equipment.
• I will participate in and adhere to the Fundraising Policy.
• I will inform the coach of any injury or condition that may affect my child or others.
• I will provide positive support regardless of performance or game outcome.
• I will model respectful behavior and sportsmanship toward all athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.
• I will expect my child to treat others with respect regardless of race, creed, color, sex, or ability.
• I will not ridicule, yell at, or engage in unsportsmanlike conduct toward any athlete, coach, or official,
• I will support a substance free environment and refrain from using drugs (including cannabis), tobacco, or alcohol at sports events.
• I will learn the rules of the game and the policies of the league.
• I will refrain from coaching my child or other players from the sidelines.
• I will refrain from approaching coaches, officials or the score table( unless I am working the game in that capacity).
• I will not approach any coach, or club director until the 24 hour rule is up. I will communicate respectfully.
Disciplinary Action
Failure to follow this Code may result in: Verbal warning • Written warning • Parental game suspension • Parental season suspension

Terms & Conditions – Grassroots Volleyball Program (Diamond Valley)

Program Schedule & Location The Grassroots Volleyball Program in Diamond Valley runs on Monday evenings from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Sessions will take place at CIM School or Oilfields High School. The final confirmed location will be communicated to all registered participants prior to the program start date.

Participant Requirements By registering, the participant and/or guardian agrees that the athlete:

  • Will arrive prepared with indoor non‑marking shoes, athletic clothing, and a water bottle.

  • Will follow all facility rules and Rampage Volleyball Centre guidelines.

  • Will demonstrate respectful behaviour toward coaches, peers, and facility staff.

  • Understands that volleyball is a physical sport and participation carries inherent risks.

Liability Waiver Participation in Rampage Volleyball Centre programs involves physical activity and inherent risks, including potential injury. By registering, the participant and/or guardian acknowledges and accepts these risks and agrees to the Rampage Volleyball Centre Liability Waiver, which must be completed prior to attending any session. Athletes may not participate without a completed waiver.

Refund Policy

  • Once the Grassroots Program begins, no refunds will be issued.

  • Refund requests before the program start date must be emailed to rampagevbcentre@gmail.com.

  • Missed sessions will not be refunded or credited.

  • If Rampage Volleyball Centre cancels the program, families will receive a full refund or credit.

Media Consent By registering, you acknowledge that Rampage Volleyball Centre may capture photos or videos during sessions for promotional or educational purposes. If you do not consent to media use, you must indicate this on your registration form.

Communication All program updates—including location confirmation, schedule changes, or weather‑related adjustments—will be sent via email to the address provided at registration. It is the responsibility of the participant/guardian to ensure contact information is accurate.

Code of Conduct Rampage Volleyball Centre is committed to providing a positive, inclusive, and safe environment. Participants and guardians agree to uphold respectful behaviour at all times. Rampage reserves the right to remove any participant from the program if behaviour compromises safety or disrupts the learning environment.

 

At Rampage Volleyball Centre, we strive to provide high-quality programming and fair policies for all participants. Please review our refund policy carefully before registering. 

General Refunds
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to rampagevbcentre@gmail.com

- A $20.00 processing fee will be applied to all approved refunds once a program has started

Program Start and Attendance
If a participant withdrawals after the program has begun:

- Refunds will be prorated based on sessions remaining.
- If more than three sessions have been attended, no monetary refund will be issued. A credit may be applied towards future programs at our discretion.

Team Rampage
- Due to the commitment required for a team placement and rostering, no refunds will be issued after April 1, 2026.

Missed Sessions
- No refunds or credits will be provided for missed sessions due to personal scheduling conflict, illness, or other absences.

Program Cancellations (By Rampage)
- If a session or program is cancelled by Rampage Volleyball Centre, a full refund or account credit will be provided for the affected session(s)

Credits
- Credit issued are nontransferable and must be used within 12 months of receipt.
