IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Regina Minor Football (RMF) Spring Football League is designed for high school players. The league is open to students in Grades 9, 10, or 11 who have previously played RMF or high school football. The season will run from April 7 to May 14, 2025.

  • Registration Deadline: March 31, 2025
  • Cost: $325, payable at the time of registration.

This fee includes the RMF Spring League registration, league fees, Football Sask Regina Player Developemnt Camp registration, practice jersey, practice pants, practices, and games played on artificial turf.

Equipment Information

  • Players are allowed to use their High School Equipment. Players that will be using their own personal helmet will have to have them inspected before the camp on March 27 or April 1
  • RMF equipment is available for players in Grades 9 and 10 and can be picked up on March 27 or April 1 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.
  • RMF will take players Weight and Height, hand out jerseys, practice pants and equipment on March 27 and April 1.
  • Practice pants will be provided for use during both practices and games.
  • Players must provide their own girdles and knee pads, which can be purchased during equipment pick-up.

Schedule Highlights

  • RMF will inspect personal helmets, take players Weight and Height, hand out jerseys, practice pants and equipment on March 27 and April 1.
  • There will be four evaluation practices, after which coaches will draft 40-44 players per team.
  • Team practices begin April 14, 2025.
  • Each team will have five practices before their first game on April 23, 2025.
  • Games are scheduled for April 23, 30, May 7, and May 14, 2025, with team practices held on Mondays and Tuesdays before each game.

Player Expectations

  • Attendance at all practices and games is required. Players participating in competitive baseball or hockey tryouts during the spring may find it challenging to meet these commitments.
  • During registration, players must indicate their current position and one preferred position. While preferences will be considered, they are not guaranteed.

Players not drafted to a team will receive a $200 refund.

Football Sask ID Camp

The registration fee includes entry into the Football Sask Regina ID Camp, so there is no need to register separately. Football Sask will also host additional ID Camps across the province this spring. These camps allow players to be evaluated for Football Sask Elite Programs. “Performance Testing” camps, similar to NFL/CFL combine camps, may also be available. I also grant permission to RMF 2000 Inc. to use and reproduce any photograph, audio or video footage or other recording for use on television, informational or promotional material such as RMF 2000 Inc. mailouts, pamphlets, newsletters, advertisements including publication on the RMF 2000 Inc. online entities (official website, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channel) in any manner the RMF 2000 Inc. considers suitable and conforming to established policies. Including promotional emails.

By submitting this form you are agreeing to the following;

 1.  I, the parent or guardian of the above player do hereby give my consent for the above player to play contact football and to participate in the activities of the RMF 2000 Inc.

2. I hereby release the RMF 2000 Inc. and every officer, director, sponsor, agent, and representative jointly and severally from any obligation, liability, costs, claims, and demands for damages and every claim and demand whatsoever for any personal or other injury, including death, or any loss, sickness or damage arising out of or in connection with the contact of any said persons in organizing, supervising or conducting their activities.

3. As a parent, if I choose to purchase a personal helmet for the above, I agree to have the helmet inspected by RMF at a cost of $20 on a date TBD before the season starts. 

The total fee for Spring League is $325, which must be paid in full at the time of registration. Of this amount, $100 is a non-refundable registration fee that covers insurance and administrative costs. Players who attend the evaluation but are not selected for a team will receive a $200 refund.

The following rules apply to all of our programs:

  • Player Restrictions: If registration numbers exceed capacity due to unforeseen restrictions (e.g., COVID protocols, spring camp limitations, or equipment shortages), players will be prioritized on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to those who have registered and paid in full.

  • Season Completion and Refund Policy: If 50% or more of the scheduled games are played, the season will be considered complete. No refunds will be issued if the season is cut short or games are canceled after this threshold is reached.
