I, a parent to a participant, hereby authorize Rose City Athletics and its agents or employees to use photographs, video, or audio recordings of my child promotional or educational purposes on the organization's social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. I understand that these images or recordings may be shared with the public and that my child's name may be used in connection with them. I acknowledge that Rose City Athletics and its agents or employees will not be responsible for any unauthorized use of the images or recordings by third parties. I further waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my child's likeness appears. I understand that I will not receive financial compensation or any other type of remuneration for the use of these images or recordings. I hereby release and discharge Rose City Athletics, its agents or employees, and any and all persons acting under its authority, from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of these images or recordings, including any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of my rights of publicity or any other rights. I have read this social media waiver, fully understand its terms, and sign it voluntarily without any inducement or coercion.

  1. Registration: Parents will need to complete a registration process and pay any applicable fees before their child can participate in the sports program. They will also need to provide any necessary medical or emergency contact information.

  2. Participation: Parents and their child will need to agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the sports program. This includes attending practices and games, following the coach's instructions, and behaving in a respectful manner towards other participants and coaches.

  3. Safety: Safety is of the utmost importance in any sports program. Parents should be informed of any potential risks involved in their child's participation and provided with information on safety protocols and precautions. They should also be made aware of any potential health or injury risks associated with the particular sport.

  4. Communication: Open and regular communication between coaches, parents, and participants is key to a successful sports program. Parents should be provided with contact information for coaches and informed of any changes or updates to the program schedule or rules.

  5. Liability: While every effort is made to ensure the safety of participants in the sports program, parents should be made aware that there is always some inherent risk involved in any physical activity. They may be required to sign a waiver of liability before their child can participate.

  6. Refunds and Cancellations: Parents should be informed of any policies regarding refunds or cancellations of the sports program, such as deadlines for withdrawing and whether refunds will be provided in the event of cancellation due to weather or other circumstances.

  7. Code of Conduct: Parents and their child will need to agree to abide by a code of conduct that outlines expected behavior and consequences for any violations.

  8. Media Release: Parents should be informed if any media coverage, such as photographs or video recordings, will be taken during the sports program and whether they will be used for promotional purposes.


  1. Refunds will be issued only if requested in writing at least two weeks prior to the start of the sports program. No refunds will be issued after this time.

  2. Refunds will be prorated based on the number of sessions attended, less a $50 administrative fee.

  3. In the event that the sports program is cancelled by the organizers, a full refund will be issued to all participants.

  4. Refunds will not be issued for missed sessions due to illness, injury, or personal reasons.

  5. Refunds will not be issued for any expenses related to travel or accommodation.

  6. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the program organizers.

  7. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of the written request.
