Hockey Saskatchewan requires minor hockey associations to be responsible for all Tournament Sanctions, Exhibition game sanctions and Travel Permits for its member teams. SMHA is therefore required to submit for all of the these sanctions/permits vs. teams being able to do so on their own.

This Tournament Sanction Request form MUST BE submitted to SMHA in order to obtain a tournament sanction from Hockey Saskatchewan to host your own tournament.

There is a $30.00 fee ($60.00 if the request is made within one week of the tournament start date) to obtain a Tournament Sanction.

Hockey Sask Regulations:

6.04.13 - U7 - No U7 games of any kind will be sanctioned by Hockey Sask until December 1st annually;

6.04.14 - U9 - There will be no U9 Tournament Games sanctioned by Hockey Sask until December 1st annually;

6.04.15 - U11 - There will be no U11 Exhibition, Tournament or League games sanctioned by Hockey Sask until November 15th annually;

Hockey Saskatchewan Regulation 6.07.03 - Tournaments - All teams hosting a sanctioned tournament must submit all tournement game sheets (emailed scans/photos accepted & preferred) to HOCKEY SASKATCHEWAN within 48 hours of the tournament;
**A $100 fine will be issued by Hockey Saskatchewan to teams that do not comply.
