This program is ONLY for U5 participants born in 2021 and 2022.
New to Hockey?
If your child has not previously registered for the U5 CUBS program, you must complete the steps for a new participant before proceeding with this registration.

Join With a Friend!
- Registration is open to participants from ANY community.
- You do not need to live within Southwest Hockey boundaries to register for this program.
Participant Requirements
- Participants must be 3 years old by the start of the session.
- No previous hockey experience is required.
- Participants must be able to:
- Get up and down on their own without assistance.
- “Shuffle” across the ice independently before registering.
IMPORTANT – Parent/Guardian Contact Information
During Step 4 of the registration process, be sure to add ALL parent/guardian contacts.
- Everyone listed will receive important program updates and club communications.
- This information MUST be entered during registration.
- Contact information cannot be added or changed after registration is completed.
Entering Your Child’s Information (VERY IMPORTANT)
The information entered during registration must exactly match your child’s Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) profile.
Registration will verify the following three items with Hockey Canada before allowing you to continue:
- HCR ID Number
- You cannot complete registration without an HCR ID.
- Need help finding your HCR ID? Visit the Registration Info page on our website.
- Date of Birth
- Name
- Must be entered exactly as shown in HCR, including spaces, apostrophes, and hyphens.
⚠️ Important: If there is an error in your child’s HCR profile, you must contact the Registrar and provide the required documentation to have it corrected. HCR records use legal first and last names.
⚠️ This program has LIMITED spaces.
- Leaving items in your cart does NOT reserve a spot.
- Registration is secured only upon receipt of payment.
