🐾 Cougars Care Financial Support Fund

Southwest Hockey Association believes that every Cougar and CUB should have the opportunity to play hockey, regardless of financial circumstances.

The Cougars Care Financial Support Fund (CCFSF) is designed to help eligible SHA families with a portion of their remaining hockey costs after they have been approved for external financial-assistance programs.

How Cougars Care Can Help

The fund may provide additional support toward:

🏒 Registration Fees – for eligible registration costs not fully covered by external funding.

🏒 Team Cash Calls – assistance with eligible team expenses, when needed.

Important to Know

Cougars Care does not replace external financial-assistance programs. Families are required to apply for available external funding first, and be approved for that external funding.

The CCFSF is intended to help close the gap between the funding received from external programs and the family's remaining eligible hockey costs.

Financial support is subject to eligibility requirements and a pre-determined percent is applied to remaining registration balance up to a maximum subsidy cap per participant, as established by the SHA Board.
