When/Where: On Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at Simon Family Jewish Community Center (5000 Corporate Woods Dr., Virginia Beach, VA 23462) between 11:00AM - 3:00PM.

Teams: (subject to change depending on final number of registered players)

Number of Teams: 12
Number of Players: Max of 14 and minimum of 10 (minimum of 7 players are required to be present and playing for each game)
Max Number of Players on Court: 10
Formation: A team is formed after 10 players have been registered.

Team T-Shirt Colors: For the Remix, a team will choose a color to wear. Players should make an attempt to match their team color as best as possible. No shirts will be provided by Stonewall Sports Norfolk for this tournament.

Players:

I want to play but I don’t have a team: This tournament will be formatted as a "remix" - that basically means that teams will be randomly generated. Our hope is that you all will get to meet new people and make new friends! People that want to register with their significant other should indicate this in the questions section of the registration form.

Fundraising: Monies raised throughout the Stonewall Dodgeball Norfolk season will be distributed back into the community for our 2024 beneficiary. Stonewall Sports Norfolk may (if time allows) host fundraising events throughout the course of the season. Information about our community events will be advertised on our website and our social media (Facebook and Instagram).

Teams are allowed and encouraged to host their own fundraising events but must contact norfolk.info@stonewallsports.org prior to their event for approval.

After Game Activities: After the games, we encourage our players to enjoy food, drinks and fun at our sponsor locations.

Policies:

Zero Tolerance:

Stonewall Sports Norfolk has zero tolerance of any bullying or harassment of any kind and for any reason of any player, captain, referee, official, participant, sponsor, director, officer or spectator. Harassment can be verbal, physical or visual, and includes all unwelcome conduct that affects someone else. The Stonewall Sports Norfolk Leadership team has an open-door policy and welcomes you to report any conduct by any player, captain, referee, official, participant, sponsor, director, officer, or spectator that makes you feel uncomfortable. The leadership team takes all allegations and reports seriously and will thoroughly investigate all claims, and if warranted, will take all appropriate action.

Official Attire:

Players should make their best attempts to wear the color shirt that their team has voted on.
- Players are permitted to alter or decorate their shirts; however, no alterations or decorations may infringe on League or Sponsors’ logos. Refer to rule 2.1 for more details and restrictions. While teams will be making their own shirts, the general rules set forth for regular season Stonewall Sports Norfolk should be followed.
Gender Identity/Expression/Pronouns
As members of a diverse community, we are all unique in various ways. One such diversity is gender identity and expression. We recognize the importance of this issue for many, even in our own community.
Players are encouraged to use name tags and fill them in with a Name/Pronoun box. This helps other players and people around you properly identify and address you, respectfully. (This box should not be used for anything else.)
Approved pronouns to be used: Any combination of they, them, she, her, he, him, any, all.
