Please spell out what School child is attending.
I, the undersigned, as the parent or guardian of a participant in the Clovis Clash Youth Football & Cheer program, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions by signing this waiver:

Support and Sportsmanship
I agree to encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, cheerleaders, coaches, and officials at every game, practice, or event. I will always prioritize my child’s emotional and physical well-being over any desire to win, and I understand that the focus is on growth and development.

Respectful Behavior
I will ensure that my child treats all players, cheerleaders, coaches, officials, and fans with respect at all times. I will model respectful behavior, understanding that my actions reflect on my child’s behavior and the program’s values.

Encouragement and Development
I will emphasize skill development over results and applaud effort, effort, and the learning process. I understand that practices and games are about enhancing my child’s growth, not just winning.

Volunteering and Program Support
I agree to volunteer my time to support the Clovis Clash Youth Football & Cheer program, including duties such as concessions, ticket sales, or assisting with event operations. I will also abide by the rules set by the Clovis Clash, team coaches, and the Youth Tackle Football League.

Parental Behavior and Pledge
I agree to refrain from verbally or physically abusing or insulting players, cheerleaders, coaches, officials, or other parents. I will address any concerns calmly and respectfully with the Clovis Clash President at an appropriate time. I will maintain a positive attitude at all team events, avoid coaching my child from the sidelines, and respect the designated “parents’ section” during practices and games.

Consequences of Inappropriate Behavior
I understand that any adult exhibiting verbal abuse, intimidation, rudeness, or disruptive behavior will be asked to leave the event immediately by a Clovis Clash Board member. If I fail to comply, I acknowledge that law enforcement may be involved. I further understand that physical assault, including hitting, slapping, pushing, spitting, or any other form of bodily harm, will result in an immediate ban from Clovis Clash events, with potential reinstatement after one year at the Board’s discretion.

Equipment and Social Media
I agree to return all program-issued equipment by the end-of-season banquet. Failure to do so will result in collections. I will not engage in any defamatory activity on social media or other platforms targeting the Clovis Clash Youth Football & Cheer program.
To ensure a positive and respectful environment for our athletes, coaches, and families, Clovis Clash has adopted the 24-Hour Rule. This rule states that parents and guardians must wait at least 24 hours after a game or practice before discussing any concerns regarding coaching decisions, game situations, or player performance with a coach, team member, board member, or league official.

This policy is in place to help separate game-time emotions from constructive discussions. During this cooling-off period, we encourage parents to reflect and approach concerns with a level-headed and solution-focused mindset.

A confrontation is defined as any conversation that escalates beyond a normal speaking tone and demeanor, including yelling, profanity, or derogatory comments directed at a coach, team member, board member, or official. Violating this policy may result in disciplinary action, including suspension from team activities.
Clovis Clash thrives because of the dedication of our families. Each family is required to contribute a minimum of six (6) volunteer hours throughout the season. These hours may be fulfilled through various opportunities, including fundraisers, game day operations, concession stands, field setup, and other essential activities that keep our program running smoothly.

Volunteering is not just about raising money or keeping costs down—it is about leading by example. By giving back, you demonstrate the values of teamwork, responsibility, and service to our young athletes. Your involvement shows them that success is built on commitment, effort, and a strong community.

Our program is more than just football; it is a family. When parents and guardians take an active role, we create an environment where young athletes can flourish both on and off the field. Your willingness to contribute ensures that every child has the opportunity to grow, compete, and experience the true spirit of Clovis Clash.
As we continue to build our program into something truly special, we’re excited to introduce a new dress code for game days. Our goal is to create a unified, professional look that reflects the discipline, teamwork, and pride we want to instill in every member of Clovis Clash. By paying attention to even the smallest details in our appearance, we demonstrate our commitment to excellence both on and off the field. This dress code isn’t just about looking good—it’s about reinforcing the values of unity, discipline, and respect among our players. When we step onto the field as one cohesive unit, we not only represent our team but also our community and the hard work we put in every day.

Dress Code Guidelines

Cleats: Must be black, white, royal blue, vegas gold, or any combination of these colors. Preferred cleats can be found under the equipment tab online at clovisclash.com.

Undershirts: Any part of an undershirt showing out from the jersey must be white, royal blue, vegas gold, or any combination of these colors.

Gloves: Must be white, royal blue, vegas gold, or any combination of these colors. We will also have team-branded gloves available for purchase, though they are not required.

Guardian Caps: May only be worn if the guardian caps matches the team helmets in color and decal design.

Visors: Only clear visors are permitted. No tinted or colored visors are allowed.

Mouthpieces: No white mouthpieces are allowed, as referees need to easily verify that players are wearing them.

Back Pads: Any back pads that hang out must align with team colors (black, white, royal blue, vegas gold, or any combination of these colors). Custom back pads with players’ names or numbers will also be available for purchase.

This dress code aims to promote team unity and help our players focus on the game. By standardizing our gear, we eliminate distractions and ensure every player is ready to perform at their best. We believe that looking like a team helps us play like a team. We appreciate your support in helping us create a disciplined, professional environment for our players.
At Clovis Clash, we are committed to developing young athletes in a competitive and structured football environment. Our program is not a pay-to-play organization, meaning roster spots and playing time in games are determined by effort, skill development, and team needs rather than financial contributions.

Competition & Playing Time
Our league is highly competitive, with many athletes training year-round to maximize their performance. While we strive to provide development opportunities for all players, our primary focus is team success. Playing time in official league games is earned based on a variety of factors, including effort, attitude, execution, and overall team needs.

We do offer 5th Quarter games when facing teams with larger rosters. These additional opportunities allow for more in-game experience, but they are not guaranteed every week. Regardless of in-game participation, all players will practice the same number of minutes and receive equal instruction from our coaching staff to support their development.

Trusting the Development Process
Every athlete's journey is unique. Some players develop at different paces, and our goal is to foster growth while maintaining a competitive team environment. We encourage parents to trust their child’s individual development process rather than focusing solely on immediate playing time.

Success in youth sports is not solely measured by game participation but by a player’s work ethic, resilience, and commitment to improvement. We emphasize skill-building, discipline, and teamwork, which will serve your athlete both on and off the field.
