Player Registration Refund Policy

1. Overview

To ensure the financial stability of our programs and the fair treatment of all athletes on our waitlists, Tide Volleyball has established the following refund policy. All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to tidevolleyballclub@gmail.com.

2. Refund Timelines & Tiers

Refund amounts are determined by the date the written request is received:

Full Refund: Requests received 14 days or more prior to the start of the season/program. (Subject to a $10 administrative processing fee).
Partial Refund (50%): Requests received less than 14 days before the start of the season, or after the first scheduled practice/session (Subject to a $10 administrative processing fee).
No Refund: No refunds will be issued after the second week of the program or once teams have been officially rostered for league play.

3. Medical Exceptions

If an athlete is unable to participate due to a significant injury or medical condition:

A pro-rated refund (minus insurance and uniform costs) may be granted at any point during the season.
A signed physician’s note stating that the athlete is unable to participate in physical activity may be required.

4. Non-Refundable Costs

The following costs are committed early in the season and cannot be recovered; therefore, they are strictly non-refundable once the athlete has attended a single session:

Administrative Processing Fees: To cover bank and registration software transaction costs.

5. Program Cancellation

If Tide Volleyball is forced to cancel this program due to low registration, facility loss, or provincial health mandates:

A full refund (or pro-rated refund, if the season has started) will be issued to all participants.
No administrative fees will be charged in this specific instance.

6. Disciplinary Action & Attendance

No refunds will be issued if an athlete is suspended or removed from the program for violations of the Code of Conduct (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GHlZY69-PPdzIi9I6aUXs75zLry0WYxi5QZ1_X_tifI/edit?usp=sharing)
No refunds or "make-up" credits will be issued for individual practices or tournaments missed due to personal scheduling conflicts, travel, or minor illness.

By registering with TeamLinkt, you commit to adhere to the refund policies, fees, and timelines set by your chosen organization or program. You commit not to initiate any chargebacks. Deviations from this policy may result in the forfeiture of any refund.
