Welcome to the 2025 Spring Flag Football Registration with Waterloo Region Football!

Our season kicks off on April 26 and concludes on June 22, taking place all season at RBJ Schlegel Park

Registration closes on March 30. Late registrants will be added to the waitlist.

Final Roster will be released on April 13. 

 

Divisions: U8 [2018/2017], U10 [2016/2015] , U12 [2014/2013], U14 [2012/2011]

 Cost: $295

Location: RBJ Schlegel Park

Dates: April 26 to  June 21/22 

Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Your registration will include mandatory membership with Football Canada/Football Ontario.  The $23.77 member fees for this will be added to your flag football registration upon check out.

What to Wear

Cleats(no metal studs), shorts (no pockets), and mouth guard.

Teammate Request: Please name ONE (1) player OR coach who you would like to be placed on the same team with(NOT BOTH). Player request MUST be reciprocated by the other player or it will not be granted. Family members of the same age group will be placed on the same team. 

Please note: Teammate/coach requests are NOT guaranteed . Please DO NOT email after teams have been made as changes cannot be made. We are unable to accept a full team registration request. 

Coaching Discount: We are a volunteer run organization and are reliant on our parents to help coach our teams each season. Coaches will receive a 30% discount on registration. If you would like to coach, please reach out to Coach Gars [ron.garcia@waterlooregionfootball.com] AHEAD OF REGISTERING, to receive a discount code to be applied at checkout.

COACHING FLAG FOOTBALL

We rely on parent volunteers to coach teams in our flag football program.  No experience is necessary. The time commitment is very low with practices and games both on the same day. Practice plans, playbooks and information sessions will be provided. Coaches must commit to the 9 week program.

REFUND POLICY
Waterloo Region Minor Football Association understands that the demands of life vary from registration time until the start of the season.
Players who withdraw from the flag program before the season starts will receive a full refund LESS $30 transaction/admin fee.

Once the season begins there are NO REFUNDS for any reason.

​Football Ontario will not refund membership once a participant has participated in any team activities.
