Weyburn Soccer Association

I, the undersigned parent/guardian, hereby give permission to Weyburn Soccer to capture and use photographs, video recordings, and audio recordings of my child during soccer practices, games, and related events. I understand that these images and recordings may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, printed materials, and other marketing efforts. I acknowledge that this content may be shared publicly and that I will not receive any royalties or other compensation for its use. I also understand that this consent is voluntary and that I may revoke it at any time by providing written notice to Weyburn Soccer. However, I understand that any revocation will not affect the use of materials that have already been published. By signing below, I release Weyburn Soccer, its employees, agents, and representatives from any liability associated with the use of these images and recordings.

Weyburn Soccer Community Program Code of Conduct

For Players

1. Respect and Sportsmanship
- Treat all players, coaches, referees, and spectators with respect.
- Display good sportsmanship at all times, on and off the field.
- Accept decisions made by coaches and referees without argument.

2. Commitment and Effort
- Attend all practices, games, and team meetings unless excused by the coach.
- Arrive on time and be prepared to give your best effort.
- Notify your coach in advance if you are unable to attend a practice or game.

3. Teamwork and Cooperation
- Support and encourage your teammates.
- Communicate effectively and positively with team members and coaches.
- Follow team rules and instructions from coaches.

4. Fair Play
- Play by the rules and respect the spirit of the game.
- Avoid inappropriate behavior such as cheating, arguing, or fighting.

5. Conduct in the Change Room
- Refrain from using phones or taking pictures in the change room.
- Obtain consent before taking any pictures or videos of teammates.
- Keep the change room clean and respect others' privacy.

For Parents

1. Support and Encouragement
- Encourage and support all players, including your child, in a positive manner.
- Cheer for the team, not just for individual players.
- Refrain from coaching from the sidelines.

2. Respect and Sportsmanship
- Treat coaches, referees, other parents, and players with respect.
- Avoid negative comments or criticism of players, coaches, or referees.
- Set a positive example for all players.

3. Communication
- Communicate with coaches regarding your child's participation and any concerns.
- Inform coaches of any issues affecting your child's ability to participate.

4. Commitment and Support
- Ensure your child attends practices, games, and team events.
- Help your child be punctual and prepared for soccer activities.

5. Conduct in the Change Room
- Do not enter the change room unless necessary or invited by the coach.
- Respect the privacy of players in the change room.
- Ensure your child understands and follows the change room conduct rules.

General Conduct

1. No Negative Posting
- Refrain from posting negative comments or information about Weyburn Soccer, its teams, or its members on social media or any public forum.
- Address any concerns directly with the coach or club officials.

2. Positive Representation
- Represent Weyburn Soccer positively in all interactions and settings.
- Promote a positive image of the club and its members.

3. Safety and Well-being
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Report any unsafe or inappropriate behavior to club officials.

By participating in Weyburn Soccer, players and parents agree to adhere to this Code of Conduct and understand that violations may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion from the program.
