2024 Season Information

TRYOUTS/PRACTICE
- When: May 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
- Where: St. Francis DeSales High School (4212 Karl Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43224)
- Note: despite the label of "tryout" EVERYONE who registers and pays the player fee will play and be assigned to a team! This date is simply for the league to assess skill levels (to help divide teams), provide the girls an opportunity to meet one another prior to the season starting, and to get a few reps in before games start!
GAMES
- 6 games per team
  - Note: as always, games are weather permitting. If a game is cancelled as a result of inclement weather, the league will do its ABSOLUTE best to reschedule the game at a later date. In the event rescheduling is unobtainable, NO refunds will be issued.
- Location: St. Francis DeSales High School (4212 Karl Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43224)
- Time: Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
  - First two teams will play and then the second two teams will play immediately after
  - Teams will switch between the early game and later game throughout the season
- Note: while everyone's competitive spirit is welcome, please remember that we are here to have fun and play the game we love! As such, the same rules of sportsmanship apply to BOTH players AND spectators. Please be respectful and courteous to EVERY player, umpire, and spectator. Please be advised that the league reserves the right to take any necessary and appropriate action towards ANY individual who is exhibiting disruptive, and/or unsportsmanlike conduct.
Players will be assigned to teams after tryouts on May 25, 2024
- If you wish to be assigned to the same team as another registered player please inform us on your registration. Such requests are NOT a guarantee you will be placed on the same team as the other player. The league will try its best to accompany all requests, however, position availability and skill levels may prevent the accommodation of some requests.
- Note: This league is a way to play the game we all love at the speed we all love AND it is also a way to meet and make new friends in the Columbus area who share the same love for the game!
PLAYER FEE
- $120 per player (keep in mind that is only $20 PER game :))
- The fee is used to cover:
  - Custom jerseys for EACH player
  - $25 WFSA Affiliation fee PER player
  - $140 Insurance fee for EACH team
  - Field rental fees
  - Umpire fees (compensation for handling our competitive sides :))
  - Various league equipment (i.e. game balls, lineup cards, league marketing materials, etc.)
