  • Teams not ready to play with the minimum number of players by 10 minutes past the scheduled start time will forfeit the game.

Tournament Weather Policy: Do not assume a field is closed or a game is cancelled due to rain. If a field has not been closed by the City of Kelowna, both teams must show up for their game. Failure to do so will result in a forfeited game. Teams can decide at game time, in person, if it is not safe to play due to weather. Please let a 10-minute delay expire to see if the rain lets up. If thunder can be heard less than 30 seconds after visible lightning, the game is paused for 30 minutes after the last visible lightning strike. If the game has less than 30 minutes left, the game is concluded with score at the end of the last full inning. Watch for alerts and messages in the TeamLinkt app should any tournament games be rescheduled/cancelled.

Should games be cancelled by the tournament coordinator due to unforeseen circumstances and are unable to be re-scheduled during the tournament weekend, the higher-ranking team will be awarded the win and move forward in the tournament.  If the tournament cannot be completed due to unforeseen circumstances, final placement & prize distribution for each division will be based on the two highest-ranking teams remaining in each division at the time of the tournament cancellation.
