⚽🎃 EASL BOO BASH TOURNAMENT 🎃⚽

The EASL Boo Bash Tournament is our exciting end-of-season tournament that brings together teams from across the Eastern Area Soccer League for a weekend of competition, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community.

Boo Bash gives our players an opportunity to finish their season competing alongside their teammates while representing their individual recreation programs with pride. From the opening games through the championship matchups, the weekend is designed to celebrate our players, coaches, families, volunteers, and the soccer community that makes EASL possible.

🏆 2026 Tournament Format

The 2026 Boo Bash Tournament features a slightly different seeding format for several divisions.

For most age groups, the top four teams were identified based on the final regular-season standings. Once those teams were established, the remaining tournament matchups and opponents were randomly selected using a spinner rather than having the entire bracket seeded strictly according to regular-season rankings.

This format means teams may face opponents they did not necessarily expect based solely on their final position in the regular-season standings.

Seeding Exceptions

The following divisions were not included in the random selection process:

• All Girls Divisions

• U16 Boys

• U18 Boys

These divisions were seeded using the traditional tournament format based on final regular-season standings.

⚽ Tournament Play

Boo Bash is a competitive tournament, and teams should arrive prepared and ready to play. Depending on the applicable division and bracket, teams will advance through tournament play toward the Boo Bash Championship.

Coaches, players, and families should carefully review their individual team brackets for their scheduled dates, game times, field locations, and opponents.

Teams are responsible for arriving on time and being prepared for each scheduled match. Coaches should also ensure that their players meet all applicable EASL roster, uniform, and player eligibility requirements before participating.

🤝 Sportsmanship & Program Pride

While Boo Bash is competitive, the tournament is also about much more than the final score.

We ask every player, coach, parent, spectator, and volunteer to help create a positive environment throughout the tournament. Please demonstrate good sportsmanship, respect game officials, support our players, and represent your recreation program well.

Our young athletes are watching the examples set by the adults around them. Together, we can make Boo Bash a competitive, exciting, and positive experience for everyone involved.
