 PLEASE READ ALL THE BELOW POINTS - Regular WESA rules apply unless altered below. 

Tournament Structure:  

1. Four game minimum, double elimination (T1 & T2 Top 2 League Standings teams receive one 7-0 victory Bye game each in Pool Play).  

2. Pool Play placement will be determined by regular season standings.  

3. All teams play two pool play games. Top seed after pool play in T1 & T2 get a bye in bracket play. 

4. Pool Play tied games are permitted and awarded 1 point.  

5. Championship Game: If the team from the Loser's Bracket wins, there is an “IF” game to keep the double elimination aspect. 

6. Ties in bracket play are not permitted. The International Tie Breaker rule will be used. (SPN 3-81) If a tie continues after one additional inning, a one pitch option will be added until a winner is determined. 

Field Set-up: 

7. Field setup and takedown shall be shared by both firstly scheduled and lastly scheduled teams of the day for each diamond.  

Game Structure: 

8. No new innings will begin after 50 mins. (except Championship games).  

9. Championship and "IF" games are scheduled for 90 minutes. First inning after 70 minutes will be declared open.  

10. If no scorekeeper is available for a game, it will be up to each team to keep score. Discrepancies will be awarded to the home team scorebook.  

11. Final inning will be played until completion ensuring each team gets their turn at bat unless the home team is leading.  

12. A coin toss by the umpire will determine Home and Visitor designation for each game during Pool Play. Home team is higher seed in Bracket Double Elimination round. 

13. Players are asked to hurry on an off the field in the interest of saving time due to shorter game times.   

14. Flip Flop rule (If Home team behind by 6 or more runs in open inning, they will bat first) will NOT be in effect in Pool Play but WILL be in effect in the Bracket elimination rounds.  

15. Catch up plus 5/8 will NOT be used for the WESA Cup playoffs.  We will use the traditional max of 5 runs per inning for T1 & T2, and 8 for T3 until the OPEN final inning.  

16. Max run differential for all round robin tournament games is +7.
