Tournament Rules: (tournament committee reserves the right to change these at any time)
- 3 20-minute stop time periods (subject to change – depending on ice condition)
- Warm up pucks will be provided
- 5 minute warm up before game – game will start right after warm up (no flood)
- Placement will be determined by win/loss ratio and tiebreakers will be determined with the better “goal average” as per Saskatchewan Hockey protocol.
Tie-Breaker
1) Head-to-head match
2) If teams tied their respective game, then we will follow the Saskatchewan Hockey Tie Breaker:
The best goal average gains the higher position. (Total number of goals “for” divided by the total number of goals “for and against” combined).
NOTE: All games are included.
NOTE: A maximum of seven (7) goal difference per game will be used in the calculation of the game ratio. This will be calculated from the actual “goals for” of the losing team in the particular game.
